Just 2 of you in a cabin, correct? I think if it was just dh and me, it would be more reasonable, but once you start adding the kids, it is too much. They will never bring back the kids sail free thing either. We should have taken advantage of that when they had it in the early thousands. Never thought of doing it then. A week for us would be close to $12,000.
I couldn't remember so I looked up what we paid for a cabin two years ago when we took a Celebrity relocation trans Atlantic cruise. It was 4 ports of call around the Mediterranean, sail by the Rock of Gibralter and One stop in the Canary Islands on a 15 day cruise from Rome to Fort Lauderdale. Total cabin cost (for two) was $3600.00. That's probably less then one week at WDW. It was a very well done cruise with lots of entertainment, great food and wonderful accommodations.
To be fair in comparison, it was an inside cabin, but, I spent all day looking out at the ocean and the only time I was in the cabin was at night. The ocean looks the same at night from any angle. Pitch blackness, but a lot of visible stars from the upper decks.

Can you go to a rope drop morning? (Different park, but when I went back in May, I wanted to go on FOP in AK. Of course, impossible to get a fastpass. So I got on a 7 AM bus to AK and was very lucky that they were letting in on-site hotel guests just after 7:30. Made a bee line over to Pandora, and maybe 25 minutes later, I had already been on FOP!) So maybe you'd have some luck in DHS for a rope drop, for Slinky?
We may have to do that in order to get on it. 😊

I agree with going at rope drop. You should be able to ride it with a shorter wait or if possible go in the last hour the park is open, it should be shorter then too. Also, keep in mind that they may still be letting people in earlier than the poster EMH time. When I was there a couple weeks ago HS was posted to start EMH at 7 am each day but they started letting people into Toy Storyland at 6:30am. The first day we went for EMH we walked into the park at 6:25am and we were pleasantly surprised when they announced a "surprise" early opening, and the other days we were planning to use EMH were no exception.
Thank you!!

What a great price and from a reputable company.

Gonna’ wait ‘til this weekend to start cruise mini TR. Been a bit of a hectic week at the office so far, so I’m just chillin’ in the evenings. I leave for one lousy week and the design pipeline backs up...!!!!! :hilarious:
When I first activated my phone in Cozumel, I had a text from the office that they couldn’t find a set of drawings. How they couldn’t find them immediately, I have no clue.
They were the only thing on my drafting table, rolled up, and with the clients name in large, red, Sharpie facing straight up. And, I told the office manager they were there before I left that Friday, in case the partner came looking for ‘em while I was out.
Took one quick return text to get that straightened out, but, good grief, do I need to leave a flashing neon sign next time...?!!!!! :hilarious: :cyclops: ;) :)

Sympathy like. I hope you had a stress free drive home.

Thanks, Figgy!!!
The drive home went even smoother than we expected!
Although we ran into a few traffic jams on I-45 between League City and downtown Houston because of 4 seperate accidents...one on our side of the road and 3 on the other...and we counted about 10 cars involved in a chain reaction rear-ender in the southbound lane... :cyclops:
Once we got west of Houston, it was smoooooooth sailin’ 🛳 ;) the rest of the way...!!! :)
