My kid has been doing “The Floss” dance for months.
My kid has been doing “The L loser Dance for weeks”

I had no idea that either of these were from Fortnight. :hilarious: He doesn’t even own the game but it has still taken over our household. ;)
Actually, Fortnite has been copying dance moves from other videos and memes. Very similar to how World of Warcraft race dances are based on viral videos (like one of the characters dance like the famous Tunak Tunak video)

Every single word in your post went way over my head. 😂😂😂. I’ve never heard of any of them. So is the floss dance a fortnite thing or something else? I actually reprimand him for the L loser dance, but then I saw a bunch of his friends doing it at a party we attended Saturday. I don’t even know if any 8 year olds actually play that game.

Omg that’s what that is!! All the kids do it at ballgames, and we wondered what on earth!!

They are all based on viral stuff. They were NOT invented by Fort nite, but merely copied from famous dancers or videos.

Bonus, some extended dances and emotes.

Will anyone on this forum admit to still eating "kid's" cereal? I like many of them, but one of my favorites is Captain Crunch. My local supermarket was having a sale that I couldn't pass up. Captain Crunch for $1.99 each....but you must buy 3 to get that price.View attachment 299329
I don't eat them anymore, not cause I don't like them, but just because of how I am choosing to eat now. Great price! Enjoy!

I love Les Mis.. a good friend of mine posted this on my FB Page this morning. It is hilarious!😂❤️ Had to share it with you all :)

@BuddyThomas and @SteveBrickNJ not sure if you’ve seen it, must watch!

Very humorous. I saw Les Mis with my parents the year it first opened on Broadway. It is not on my favorite musical list. But maybe my tastes in musicals is different then most. One of my favorite musicals growing up was Starlight Express. Apparently it was panned by critics. Eh, I was a teenager and loved it.

Dinner tonight bbq potatoes, corn, salmon with mango pineapple salsa and slaw. I'm having veggie vindaloo:hungry: Followed by peach upside down cake, unless James changes his mind again and then it will be berry:rolleyes:
Happy Birthday James!

My kids, sans ds, have done the backpack kid dance for the last bunch of months. Think it is going out of favor though. It was cute and silly.

Oh ok. So some moves were copied from dances in the 80's and 90's and made "new" again due to the internet. Nice harmless stuff.

I LOVE Starlight Express!! I’m going to have the humming of the Starlight Express in my head now, for the remainder of the day. ;)

I’m a huge fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber.

I don’t know that one! Honestly for about 2 months, I thought the floss was something that T’s soccer team made up. They did it every game and practice before it started, and then again at the end.lol.. then I found out it was a “thing”, still had no clue that it was from a video game.

Just found out through @Cesar R M that the backpack kid dance is the floss. The kid in the video doing the dance is wearing a backpack. Duh...:hilarious::D

Ha ha. I didn’t know either! I haven’t had a chance to watch the videos yet.

Wow! I never thought I would meet anyone ever who even knew that musical. Ha ha! I have the tape somewhere.:):hilarious:

A cousin of mine lived in NYC for several years before she died.. from the time I was little she always bought soundtrack to musicals, sheet music, and books (not related to musicals) for my birthdays and Christmas presents. (Because of her, I read Jane Eyre when I was 10 years old and instantly fell in love with it.lol.) Once i was 13 and over I’d go stay with her sometimes and we’d always see a show on Broadway, and eventually off broadway ones as well

Back to the point., she gifted me with my first Andrew Lloyd Webber compilation TAPE(showing my age here too 😂) when I was little.,, it had Starlight Express, Phantom, Cats etc.. even Requiem which is still one of my favorite sheets to play. I begged my parents to take me to all of them, before then they left me home during most of their theater nights unless musicals geared more to kids. :(;)
