I wound up baking a different type. Remind me this week and I'll pull out a recipe or 2 for you

I'm also interested

I am getting so creative. This was my dinner tonight. I have turned cauliflower pizza crust(cauliflower mixed with quinoa flour) into sandwich bread. It actually holds its shape. On it is hummus, avocado spread, tomato, onions, cucumbers, dill pickle relish, and spinach. Delicious and filling. :hungry:

YES PLEASE!!!
For the cauliflower bread/pizza crust: 1 head of cauliflower, 1 cup quinoa flour, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp parsley, 1/4 tsp turmeric, for non vegan 1-2 eggs, vegan 2 flax eggs. I also used about 1/4 nutritional yeast. It is more of a flavoring vegans use to add a cheesy-like flavor to foods. It is optional.
Steam the cauliflower and then process the florets so they become mashed. Then squeeze the water out of the processed cauliflower. Add the quinoa flour and spices. Then add the eggs or flax eggs. Start out with one egg first for chicken eggs. Mix with your hands. It should form a slightly sticky dough. Then move the dough to a parchment lined cookie sheet and flatten it out with your hands to about 1/3 or 1/4 of an inch. Then put in a 400 degree oven. Bake for 30 min. When you take it out cover it with another piece of parchment and flip it. Put it back on the cookie sheet and bake for another 15. Then it is done. I will let you know what sized cookie sheet I used tomorrow. I am upstairs and don’t feel like going down. ;) I will post avocado spread in another post.

Very amazing carvings! I am sure it took a lot of patience as well. It was sure nice if that manager to let you have the castle. Can’t believe they literally needed to destroy everything that was thrown out.

Thank you!!! :)
Yes, the bear was fun to work on!
I just never got 'round to finishing it... :cyclops:
But, it was finished enough for oldest DD, and she loves it...!!! :)

And yes, that manager and I worked well together, and along with her own love of Disney, she understood my love of Disney, as well. Although, my Disney interests were more into the history and imagineering, and hers were more into current animation and Princesses...we made a good team for the Store...!!!
Haven't talked with her since my last shift shift on 10/17/13. She had already moved to the outlet mall several months before, but, called to wish me well.
But, yes, DCP tried to make sure we destroyed everything, as they didn't wan't any of it, no matter how trivial, ending up on eBay, etc.... :cyclops:

At least there is no red or purple on the radar. Stay safe. No rain predicted here for 2 weeks.

Thanks! We will! :)
This is just so unusual for us this time of year...usually, overnight low of 75-ish, sunny and daytime high of 103-ish...rinse repeat, literally, through early September... :cyclops:

Hopefully y'all get some rain during that time...there needs to be balance...! ;) :)

My oldest dd is in the process of sewing a tote bag. She sewed a top with the help of one sil last week. She is trying to do this on her own. She complains that the instructions are very vague. She also yipped a little when she got stuck with a pin. She has all the pieces cut, but somehow I think she will be waiting for sil to come back at the end of the month to continue.
