When we used to visit my grandparents on their farms, on both sides, we got the freshest whole milk you could get...poured it in a glass from the milk bucket just minutes after the cow was milked!!!
Also, all the cream on the milks surface was scooped out, and we used eat it with a spoon from a bowl, after it was topped with a little sugar and cinnamon...!!!!! :hungry:

That sounds good--especially the last sentence! :hungry: Just curious though--did that mean your milk was not pasteurized? Different states have different laws about that. I know in MA, it can be legally sold on a farm--but only the farm from which it was produced; it is against the law in MA to sell it in any grocery or retail stores, for example. Other states have various laws about it, and 20 states don't allow the sale at all.

I meant to share some of my Epcot day pictures but I was busy with my niece yesterday (she is 13 and visiting for the past couple days).

IMG_2847.JPG

My car for Test Track, I tried to make it pretty. I really can't believe I got my friend on Test Track, she doesn't like wild rides but I don't consider TT that wild. She was a little queasy afterwards.
IMG_2854.JPG

We met some characters, this if for you @MinnieM123
IMG_2877.JPG

My friend wanted to see manatees when we did our nature hikes before Disney, but we didn't see them. So she was happy to see them here finally.
IMG_2897.JPG

We took a trip through the Land and Soarin.
IMG_2908.JPG

My friend was really keen to drink around the world. We had shirts and everything. When we first got to Florida she was all gung ho about finishing a drink in every country herself. I was concerned about that, I don't drink much any more nor does she. So I was envisioning her passed out in some bushes halfway around World Showcase and me buying drinking, taking a couple sips and then when she wasn't looking pouring it out. Well, after our first night out in Florida she drank a little too much and realized she couldn't handle it as much anymore. So we did a cheaters drinking around the world, which really isn't cheating as there aren't any set rules, are there? We had a few drinks in some of the countries on our own, but she agreed to share drinks so we could make it around and still be coherent.

First stop....La Cava. I got the avocado margarita and she got something else (sorry can't remember). She was hesitant about the avocado, even though she likes avocado, but just like my husband once she tasted it she wished she would have ordered it. Brad does the same thing every time, someday some one will listen to me.
IMG_2917.JPG

We also got chips and guac. Our waiter brought us cheese sauce too (not pictured) even though we didn't order it. He said he felt bad that it took so long for us to get our order taken that he threw it in for free. I just think it was part of his evil plan to get me hooked on the cheese sauce. I keep thinking that I NEED to order it next time I go back.IMG_2919.JPG

Then we went over to Canada and shared a beer, it was a type of Moosehead beer. Very refreshing.
IMG_2931.JPG

Then we stopped in the Rose and Crown and shared a Royal Beer sampler and a scotch egg. She didn't want to do any meals, but I knew we needed something in our tummies in order to survive the drinking.

France was up next, we had 15 minutes until the next show so we went in the wine shop for our drinks. She wanted wine and as soon as I saw they had the Kronenburg Blanc I had to have that. So individual drinks it was. We were going to do the Grand Marnier slushy but she was on the fence about it, her loss.
IMG_2945.JPG

IMG_2949.JPG

A bit of the show...
IMG_2967.JPG

Morocco doesn't have many unique options beyond slushies so we just shared a beer. It wasn't anything super.
IMG_2974.JPG

Next stop Japan. A Japanese student had lived in our college house for a little while. She was a few years older than us and I think she was irritated by our shenanigans and moved out after a semester. But while in Japan we drank a toast to her. We shared a sparkling sake there. Both of us were nervous about the sake, it is usually very strong but this was so tasty. Both of us could easily have had the whole bottle, it was that good!
IMG_2986.JPG

Then to America! Shared a beer here but saw the Voices of Liberty. I thought of @Songbird76 because they sang 50 Nifty United States.
IMG_2991.JPG

My friend was not interested in watching the main American Adventure show, I was disappointed but didn't push it. Our next stop was the Tutto Gusto Wine bar. There we got a meat tray and a glass of wine each, wine isn't pictured. Our server was really nice and gave me an AP discount, I didn't know that was applicable there. I felt bad for him because the table next to us was full of people in their mid-twenties and they were trying to be super friendly with him. Which might not sound bad but they kept inviting him to sit down with them, tell them how to make a pizza, asked him to make a pizza for them like he would make at home, and a bunch of personal questions. He was trying to be professional but I could tell he was a little irritated by them.
IMG_3001.JPG

Part of our shirts.
IMG_3003.JPG

The next country as your know was Germany. The last time I went to Epcot with my friend we ate at the Biergarten and she loved it and the polka music. She actually really loves polka, many radio stations in Wisconsin will play a couple hours of it on Sunday morning. I remember in college waking up and hearing her play polka. Anyway, she lamented that we wouldn't be able to hear the band but I said let's see if they are playing in the restaurant and they were. So we snuck in and danced a couple of polkas. I felt a little bad sneaking in, I'm usually a rule follower.
IMG_3009.JPG

After that we shared the grapefruit beer.

After Germany we went back to watch the new Guardians show. I really liked it, great music. And the person they got to play Peter Quill/Starlord is so much better than the one at the meet and greet at the Studios. Fun show!
IMG_6366.JPGIMG_6375.JPGIMG_6377.JPG

Then we saw the Chinese acrobats, Reflections of China and shared a Foo beer. My friend really liked this one, I didn't think it was anything unique.
IMG_3024.JPG

Then we hung out for awhile and toured Norway before heading to our dessert party. We didn't get a drink in Norway proper, but considered the dessert party our Norway drink. So mission accomplished a drink in every country!
IMG_3038.JPG

The desserts were really good at the Frozen party and I loved the cheese fondue. I could've drank a bowlful of it!

The viewing area for Illuminations was great. We even got special glasses to see the fireworks with, they made things look like snowflakes. I didn't watch the entire show with them but a few glances.

The wind unfortunately was blowing the fallout in our direction so we got a little dusted. And we both had orange/brown marks on our hands and arms from the fallout for about a day after. It was strange but didn't burn.
IMG_3065.JPG

After the show we were taken to ride Frozen and my friend loved that! She thought it was the best ride in Epcot, even with the drop. I didn't tell her about it ahead of time because I knew she would have worried about it. I told her right before the drop and assured her it was a very small drop and she in the end was okay with it. Then we made our way out.

How the hell they did deny the compensation when they did all that wrong stuff?
Honestly, they probably know they can get away with it. Who will hold them accountable? If you want to get them to pay, you'd have to take them to court, which is expensive and time consuming, and there's no guarantee. Unless you have a large class action suit with several customers from different flights all having similar experiences and proof that they aren't following the national guidelines, there's not much you can do, because it's not worth it to try to sue them yourself.

The following post is from a few months ago. :)
Woo Hoo!!! Close enough!

Mexico and Germany are in the same group this year.: i would LOVE to see Mexico win that group!!

I’m an Argentina fan.. kiddo has been so conflicted over Spain or Portugal. He’s a huge Real Madrid fan (doesn’t miss a match), and loves all of the players.. several of which will be playing for Spain. But he said “Mommy, I gotta follow Ronaldo, he’s my guy. I’m rooting for Portugal.” LOL. He’s also furious with me that I’m rooting for Spain and Argentina in their respective brackets.. and not Portugal. ;) I want Argentina to win it all, obviously. Sorry to my kiddo. ;)

Was there anyone from Wyoming when they sang 50 Nifty United States? This got me curious, because there were so many videos on Youtube from when they did that song and they always made such a big deal out of how they never met anyone from Wyoming. So I went to Youtube to see if the video from when we went was there.

Can you take back your negativity now ???

Mexico lives on!!!
Define negativity? Mexico was outplayed badly. What is the good part? that Mexico passed by cheer luck , willpower of the koreans and the mediocrity of Germany? I'm being realist here.

Anyway, there is this hilarious video of a Korean visitor in Mexico city was given a full hero parade in the center Zocalo of Mexico city after the win of Korea vs Germany. :hilarious:

And in other places too!

Mexicans Gathering at the Embassy of Korea

Korean Ambassador joins the chanting:

so funny! XD
