Just out of curiosity, do you use actual views for these, or is it computer generated view? Because the picture of the 2 white chairs and the table in front of the glass walls/doors....that is an amazing view. Can you imagine waking up to that every morning? Who needs a luxury house if THAT is your view....that's enough luxury for me right there. But then, I miss that kind of landscape. The Netherlands are nice and green, but we don't have any mountains.

No part of any of those pics are computer generated or fake in any way.
The first residence is on the top of a hill in the Austin area Hill Country (which actually encompasses hundreds of square miles of Central Texas), and the second residence is on Lake Austin with an attached boathouse.
Here's a pic where you can see the boathouse in the background...

If you are interested, just google "Images of the Texas Hill Country", or something like that...it's really quite beautiful here...!!! :)

Also, sorry for the late-ish response...I was at our local tax office waiting for my number to be called to renew DWifeys car registration and my phone battery was running low... :cyclops: ;)

True, but the same thing can be said about nurses. I said about Nurses because of what happened to me as baby when I was a couple weeks old.

My mom disagreed with nurse and felt something was wrong with me. Her motherly instincts were correct and decided to take me to the doctor and I ended up with surgery as a baby. I don't want to go into details here outside of saying I had a major medical problem.

We'll be off here in a bit to help oldest DD (although, she'll only be directing the operation, for obvious reasons ;)) and SonIL tear up some carpet out of a coupla' rooms in their new home.
Then, over the weekend we'll puttin' in some wood flooring.
And then there'll be other stuff, and I'm game...whatever makes it "home" to them and granddaughter...!!!!!!! :happy:

Youth sports is becoming a joke.

I have spent the last 2 days debating and pleading with T’s school’s athletic club.. I have emailed about 6 people in Ohio Youth SAY Soccer.. and I have sent quite a few emails to YSSF.

I’m so angry I can’t even see straight. T is one of THREE boys who will need to REPEAT a year of “Passers” instead of moving up to “Wings”

What the means? He will be playing with 1st and 2nd graders.. while he’s in the THIRD GRADE.

I wasn’t smart enough to lie about his birthday as a few other parents did. I’m SO ANGRY. THE ENTIRE POINT OF PLAYING SPORTS WITH YOUR SCHOOL IS TO PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

S.A.Y is going to harm youth soccer with this. Let the club teams do it, fine, I agree with it on “select”/competitive teams..but let the schools (SAY) still play by grade. They’re going to end up pushing more kids to club soccer, and worse- potentially lose kids from soccer altogether.

SO STUPID.

Sorry for the rant.

Oh, and I think my entire athletic club, parents who I know and some who are friends.. probably all hate me now. Hopefully they won’t take it out on T, and hopefully they will forgive me for being so pssed off. :(

Does anyone here have kids in SAY Soccer? If so, please send an email to the national organization.

My son decided not to play with school now.. I’m arguing for my money back. We can’t be the only family to make this decision.
