I agree that one shouldn’t share photos of kids on a team or opposing team. I shared the 2 photos that didn’t include either- a pic of my son running a flower to me, alone... a pic of my son with his medal and the team trophy, alone. And then a video of my family playing baseball when a 3 year old (my niece) comes tearing thru spinning on a bike.
But, whatever. They’re deleted. Warning taken, and understood.
It was still an amazing mother’s day :)

Here’s a photo.. my late lunch/early dinner. Breaking my diet for this..

It’s just too hard to take a break from Chipotle :)

Mmmm, I haven't had Chipotle in a long time. It would be delicious right now though!:hungry:

Photos where we stayed POR Mansion
Rooms were nice but furniture is a bit worn out now. Above the beds, switch turns twinkling lights on. Took us two days to discover this. Lol New addition to our bath on the 2nd day. Loved the bath wash! Free eyeglass kit in room when we arrived. View attachment 283841View attachment 283843View attachment 283844View attachment 283846
Are they no longer using the smaller shampoos and body wash, etc? No leftovers to take home?

I've certainly enjoyed your photos. I think its sad that we live in a world where some people read various threads on the forum, for the wrong reasons.

Email I send out: This training is mandatory.
Person: Do I actually have to take this?
Me:...No. That's why it said MANDATORY.

Oh yah, there's lots more to come. Here's a good one, "Deadline" --- see if any of them can figure that one out.

It's the same at every job I've had down through the years. Supposedly intelligent people with some high ranking positions, become stupid all of a sudden, when asked to comply with a very simple order . . .

I read that some of the hotels are using the pump style soap/shampoo etc. I don't think this applies to all the resorts though.
I can see how that would be a better deal for Disney in that there would be less waste, but I loved being able to bring all the unfinished ones home. I have a whole drawer full of them in my bathroom. Of course I have used the sales on ShopDisney to purchase the large bottles. For our upcoming trip we will be buying large bottles in the Mercantile, since we won't have housekeeping. Figure that the money we are saving on Mousekeeping tips will easily pay for the shampoo and conditioner.;)

Oh, we're already past the deadline. No one figured that one out.

Hope this forecast changes because so far it looks like the weather will be lousy when we are at Disney. Looks like the waterpark will not be happening on Friday.

I think every time I've gone to WDW it has rained. But the rain would last anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours (in some cases). It's hot down there and the atmosphere is unstable, so just expect some rain pretty much every day. You get used to it.

And because it's so darn hot, even if you get drenched for a while, you'll dry off fairly quickly when the sun comes out. P.S.: Forget about any hairdo when you're down there--between the muggies and occasional daily rain showers, any "style" doesn't stand a chance. But WDW is vacation playland, and I could care less how I look when I'm down there. I just want to go on the rides and eat ice cream. :D

"safe" is irrelevant if the content is available for everyone.

Anyone can be here and enter and make an account. It doesn't make it "100% safe".
CONTENT wise it might be KID SAFE, but it doesnt means the VISITORS who frequent this site are vetted or "safe".
I'm still not sure what having a picture of your child has to do with anything? If they don't know your address, what does it matter? It's one kid in how many million kids? What exactly is the harm? I'm not faulting people for wanting their privacy, even you Cesar that puts those funny stickers over the faces in your pictures. All I can do is sit and wonder just exactly what is going to happen if someone, anyone sees real faces. Are they going to print off the picture and head on down to Mexico, for example, or come to North Carolina and go door to door until they find someone that looks just like someone in your or my family? What exactly is at risk? I'm not being critical, I am merely asking as I really don't understand what harm can come to anyone with so little information to go on.

I understand why one doesn't share information, like exact location, dates of birth, actual names, (which, btw, you have done with your nice photo's), important identification numbers, etc. But, a picture is just one of 7.6 billion people in the world. Where would one start to look for us.

A lot of people have their shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hand cream "collections" in a drawer at home! :p

I clean my stuff out of the drawers every 10 years or so. I put it in a plastic baggie and 5 years later if I haven't opened any of it... it hits the trash. By then the shampoo has dried up and the soap has started to grow things on it that I don't think will help the cleaning process.

Funny, I've done that sort of thing, myself. I usually end up with more little bottles of things that never get used. I think the joy is just bringing the stuff home. :p

Not answering your question, but speaking as an assumption.. maybe someone thought my tournament reference was too much personal info? That’s the only thing I can come up with.

I wasn’t worried about that.. I didn’t post the name during the tournament, it was shown on the trophy after the fact though.

This tourney was comprised of teams from all over the US and Canada, it was played on 28 different fields in 3 different locations..games from 7am - 7pm on each field over a 2 day period, and from 4-7pm on Friday.

That was just the tournament we participated in. There were at least 2 more going on this past weekend within a 4 hour radius of where I live.

It would have been searching for a needle in a haystack to find my kid on a youth soccer team somewhere in Ohio, KY, or Indiana.
