Ok well.. since my life has a new mini-drama every day.. Here’s the latest and greatest Mom FAIL-
We missed the Cub Scout Blue and Gold banquet last night.
T is soooooooooo mad at me. I deserve it. We were home for most of the day..I was just enjoying a day with nothing on the itinerary. All I was doing was cleaning, chatting here, looking up Disney stuff for the rest of my sister’s week.
T was playing with neighbor kid.
I somehow forgot to put in my calendar so I didn’t get an alert!! Didn’t even realize it til a mom texted me today and asked if I wanted her to drop off his badges, or if I want to pick them up.
Holy Cow. Major Fail. I feel HORRIBLE!!!!

Oh they definitely did NOT allow these people on property--no soliciting at all. They were trespassing, period.

They were lucky. I recall years ago (and it may still be true) the during extra evening hours they'd let you ride something multiple times, if it wasn't crowded. I recall riding Splash 3 times in a row! That was fun. I really liked seeing the stars up in the sky at night, when the ride went outside at the top.

You are entitled to forget one thing in your crazy schedule. With all the running around you do between work and T’s activities, I would not feel bad.

We have done Barnstormer a couple of times in a row without needing to get off. Makes you feel like a VIP.

I think sister must be walking around with pixie dust sprinkled on her.. look at this text I just received-
I didnt even know that they chose people for this.. but apparently it’s awesome.. they received a walk up FP to all THREE characters!

That's understandable, that sometimes it's easier to spread out the work a bit. My two cents: if you do some work on the weekend, try to work on projects that don't involve any email replies--at least until Monday. In other words, respond to people only during the week (when they expect you to be there).
If people realize that you're working on weekends, they'll never leave you alone. If there is one thing I've learned from all my years in the workforce, it's imperative for your sanity, to establish boundaries--we all need to strike a balance between home and work.

Thank you.. but I don’t have an excuse for yesterday. After mass in the morning I didn’t even leave my house for the rest of the day. I was just enjoying that rare occasion.

Wow neat! When we did EMM we got to walk on 7DMT several times, but they did make us get off. Would have been awesome if we could have stayed on!We have done Barnstormer a couple of times in a row without needing to get off. Makes you feel like a VIP.

There will be other dinners. Sometimes it is ok to just relax and get house stuff done. I am sure that T did enjoy his day playing with his friend.

Here’s something new (at least to my knowledge) at Hollywood Studios! Was Rey there on your last visit? We didn’t see her in November.
Apparently a family gets chosen to “guard” the Launch Bay doors during the march.. one of the CMs announce their names and that they are going to ‘protect and guard’.
Then Kylo Ren came to challenge them..
Then Rey came up and told them what a good job they did, and asked my niece about her magic band..
After that, the CM gives them FPs for the characters. Super cool!

It was a good mail day for her, but that's still second best.
Omaha Steaks is best. I like it when people mail us Omaha Steaks.

Sounds like you probably needed some downtime, not a bad thing. Maybe to make it up to him though make a big deal about his badges and post to all your friends on FB or something.
