I'm on an anti seziure medication, which is odd, but it works. My doctor put me on it after a six day migraine. They're much better now.

They are excellent at crowd control. These parks are big. They're built to handle crowds. Your main issue is going to be wait times. I wouldn't worry too much about getting caught in crowds. It may happen after fireworks or during the parade, but during the day, you'll be fine. And even so, Disney knows how to manage the crowds. For instance, if Main Street has too many people, they'll open the bypass for those trying to leave. And there will be areas of the park more crowded than others, so if you're feeling like there's too many people, move on.

FYI, New Fatasyland at night...empty.

I saw a walk through video of a level ten crowd day and while it looked like wall to wall people from above, when he was walking through it didn't actually look that bad. There were pockets of emptiness and you could pretty easily walk from pocket to pocket. I'm hoping for at least that. I can handle that. And I'm really REALLY hoping they open the bypass after the fireworks because it's just steps away from the dessert party area :)

They probably will.

Don't spend too much time worrying about it. It is what it is, and you can always go back. :)

Yeah, I wouldn't have let my 3 year old watch it. My youngest just turned 7 and my oldest is 16. My 7 year old does not seem to get scared much from cartoons. She loves the Monster's Inc. movies and also watches Gravity Falls. So maybe when yours turns 7 it will be okay to watch. My youngest also does say, "I'm not scared of anything." I will say she does get scared watching The Weather Channel when they show Storm Stories or other natural disaster shows. So I think she understands the difference between fiction and reality, and that is a good thing.:)
Funny how our kids are all different. By age 3 my daughter was in love with Jack Skellington and "What's This?" was her song (still is) but then she was never into princesses. Indiana Jones was her "I have to do that!" thing on every trip.

We won't be there long enough for that. On arrival day we'll go swimming and then have dinner. The next day will be a half day at MK then back to the resort for naps, and then dinner and shopping at Disney Springs. The next day is a half day at Epcot and then pool time. The next day is an open morning (we can go back to MK and rope drop some rides she wants to do again, or hit the pool, or go back to DS for shopping, or play mini golf, whatever) and then after nap we're spending the evening in MK to eat in the castle and watch the fireworks.

That's it though. The next day we fly out.

I have fast passes for everything that is a "must see" for us, though. And now I know I can get a head start in the World Showcase, lol. But if it all falls apart, we're staying in AoA and just the decorations alone will entertain her. I'm cautiously optimistic. I think my plan is good. I guess we'll see in five days!
Just remember with the time you are going to pay attention to park closing stages due to the crowds. There may be a time it gets so crowded a park may close to ALL guests. We were at MK when it closed twice during the Christmas week. We ropedropped and stayed. You may ropedrop, leave for a nap and not get back in depending on the crowds.

The only day that would be an issue for us is our evening in the parks day. We are staying on site though, and have reservations in the castle for dinner plus the dessert party. So unless they close the park down completely, we'll be fine. I read that they've only closed on all phases once.

You have to do People Mover. It is a must for us. One of my kids favorite rides from birth practically. (Not kidding either).

Peoplemover (or Blue ride as it is know to us) is a quickie. And it gives you a nice view of Tomorrowland. It is definitely a must do.

We call it the Blue Train.:D

A must do at night.

I've added it on our Touring Plans, so hopefully we can fit it in! I watched the ride video and it does look like something the kid would enjoy, and it's not dripping with princesses so my husband will welcome the break too, LOL

Hi! Sadly, yes I am back, back since Wednesday. And not happy about that at all. Life hit a yahoo and a oh no the day before we left town. Upon return life has been in a major tailspin with a good outcome but getting to that outcome made us feel we deserve a vacation.
More later...
Welcome back....sorry it means being back to reality.

They've phase 4 closed MK more than once. Phase 4=all guests are NOPE until park empties some.
