Another potentially stupid last minute question (sorry!!)... Does anyone know how far in advance they close the castle tunnel for stage shows? We're dining in the castle, and I'd like to avoid having to exit through the back into Fantasyland if possible, but the Frozen Holiday Wish thing starts at 6:15.

At least an hour. Sometimes more. It depends.

Also, just a tip...don't stress to make everything perfect. Go with the flow. I've never, ever had everything go exactly according to plan, but if you work to hard trying to make everything go exactly according to plan, you won't end up having a good time. Remember, it is vacation. Relax, take it all in, and enjoy it. :)

That's what I'm shooting for. A relaxed, fun time. I was just really hoping to avoid FL as much as possible that evening because level ten crowds in FL doesn't sound relaxing or fun :hilarious::hilarious: but with your information at least I can troubleshoot now!!

The crowd counts more refer to wait times. The paths are wide enough that you shouldn't have issues moving around except on Main Street during parade time and fireworks time.

That's good to know!! We aren't planning anything outside of fast passes for that evening (except trying to catch the Rapunzel lantern photopass thing), so hopefully we'll avoid adult meltdowns if the walkways are pretty decent. Thank you again for your help!!

No problem.

In Disneyland, their paths are very narrow. When it gets crowded, you can tell very quickly. They learned their lesson. The paths are nice and wide in WDW. Although I love DL, it drives me bonkers every time I go out there because I'm used to nice wide paths at WDW. The only time you might have issues with crowds is post parades, shows, and fireworks. It doesn't get to the point you can't move.

Just got back from The Last Jedi.

Some parts were very good, others so so.
The contrasts of acting between the old guard breaks the whole thing a bit.
Boyega felt very weak on this.. so did Phasma (whose appearance was merely a dumb filler...)

I'm still annoyed in some parts of the plot.. and still hope Kylo gets a very painful dead.. cant stand him and his manchildren tantrums.

That Admiral deciding the fate of the Cruiser was one of the best parts..

I'm still scratching my head at what will be of the character portrayed by Benicio Del Toro.

The whole scene reminds me a lot of the original trilogy's Vespin scene. Where they get unwillingly betrayed

Also the last scenes of the kid being force sensitive echoes the words of Luke.

Luke's last fight was impressive considering what he was doing...

And considering the path, its clear its going to be a Kylo vs Rey debacle.

Also this movie seems very similar in style to The Empire Strikes Back with a bit of Return of the Jedi.

Still, who the hell was snoke anyway... ?

Overall I still liked Rogue one Best.

I cannot get my head around the whole genx millenial etc.

It is really wishy-washy. I was never a baby boomer. I was a child of the 60's. But in the last decade 'they' whoever defines such things extended the baby boomers well into the 60's. We babies were never part of all that born before us but now we are lumped into it though we didn't grow up with all that as we were toddlers. The lines are very blurred.

Me, well I find it wrong to define any generation as identical in traits. So far from reality.

I'd just like to chime in as well here with my two cents' worth. Planning is fine, and probably a good idea when traveling with others.

In the back of your mind, just be prepared for the unexpected--rides go 101 sometimes, weather (rain) can throw off certain outdoor attractions, and a restaurant can run out of your favorite dish, etc. Plus, you have a toddler with you, and experiencing the sights, sounds and crowds at WDW is a sensory overload, even for adults at times. So she might need to take a break and chill, here and there--and that might throw off plans here and there.

Regardless, you'll have have a great time. :)

I agree with this @DisneyBound2017. Assume that your plans may go awry at some point and don’t stress about them. Monorail resort hopping is quite fun by the way. :)
