Well today was weird going into EPCOT. About twenty minutes after rope drop it lines to enter like the first day of food and wine after the soft opening monsoon the night before 2016. Today no explanation. Most of Pop Warner gone.

The lines to tap to enter were easily 45 minutes. Being AP it still took 15 minutes with our own bay. Skipped the finger print for AP to push us through. Disney needs a sign at the beginning of the queue on days like this. Nobody knows until they hit the touch points even then if general Guests realize what that means. It was ugly encounters. They sent them out to start over. So nasty

Epcot has two completely separate entry points up front. One from one side of parking Misson Space Side and the original Monorail entry security point and it is still a mess. So many angry guests there early enough and missing FP+.

The park was oddly crowded but we managed to get addional FPS due to DD diligence. Just didn’t get it
Oh boy! Christmas should be fun! At least I will be at Disney.

I am glad your doctor's visit went well. I guess it depends on what you are used to but I would be happy to have a 25 minute wait at my GP. Last time I went I had to wait 95 min. past my appointment time and when I finally saw her she was rushed and barely talked me. A complete waste of my morning:(

Since my appointment was at 8:20 a.m, and the medical building where I see her states their hours are 8 am to 7 pm, I figured I was one of her very first appointment's of the day. As I was sitting there, a few people came in without appointments, and were looking for orders for bloodwork. I noticed they were attended to before me, which really annoyed me. However, I waited patiently. I did ask the nurse why I had to wait so long, but that question was not addressed. My blood draw in the lab only took a few minutes, so I was thrilled about that. I did feel like my doctor rushed my appointment today, and she normally doesn't do that. it just wasn't my normal experience.

Alright, so since last time I was here, finally hit Chuy's. OMG! So good @donaldtoo ! Can't wait to get back! I will not attempt the Elvis Combo solo again, however. That was dinner, and lunch, and some dinner.

Old Subaru (1998), finally clunked out just after Thanksgiving. Bought new car. Last week discovered someone already dented the side pretty good. Still a nice ride but...heavy sigh.

And, thank goodness I came back from my Target run with very few things for the freezer, because on my door step was a big cooler from Omaha Steak. Just said Merry Christmas. I have no clue who sent it, but barely fit in the freezer. What a great problem to have.

And Hannukah starts tonight, still don't have anything ready for that. And 2 weeks till Christmas and Disney, and nothing. Can I just go now?
Im surprised how calm you are, I always get infuriated with morons who just outright love to damage new cars by being aholes in parking lots.

It's appalling that they tried to demand and then guilt people into coming, like they don't have a choice or are being somehow ungrateful. If you truly appreciate your employees and how hard they work for you, show it by respecting their choices and let them keep their work lives separate from their social calendar.

I agree with you. At my workplace it's great though--they use WORK TIME (around lunch, midday) on a weekday, and about 50 of us are taken to a local restaurant. (I really put on the feed bag, too!! :joyfull: ) It's a huge buffet and people just pile up their plates and sit with anyone at large tables. There's no pretense--people just have a good time and chow down on free food!! :hungry:

Hope your next appt. will be better. It stinks to think you felt rushed.

@FutureCEO , wondering what you've been up to lately. Did you definitely decide against getting a tree? I know you were hot and cold about it, and not sure what your final decision was.

For some odd reason, I was thinking back to a previous Thanksgiving/Christmas season, and I recall your funny comments about some crazy (heirloom) turkey platter that I think belonged to an aunt, or your grandmother (can't recall). Made me chuckle . . . ;)

I can bring you one depending on where you live, and whether you will pick me up from the airport and let me stay at your house for a week.:joyfull:
Honestly a Bosche Bol would be totally be worth all that because they're the best.
I was born in Den Bosch and we would get a Bosche Bol once a year at the end of the school year if we had done well.
Only once a year? That seems just mean.:p

Working from home now :(
Oh, sorry. :(Dh has been sick for a week now. The cough is the worst. Just doesn't seem to go away and always gets worse when he gets home and sits or tries to go to sleep. At work he stands a lot so it is better there. Hopefully your illness will not last as long. You do have Disney to look forward to.:)

UGH. Hubby is getting sick too - he went to work, so tonight should be fun listening to all the gross details.

I hope you feel better quick!
Hope your dh won't have it too bad and that you and the boys don't get it.

I had an 8:20 a.m. doctor appointment, and I arrived early. It never fails, when you get there early, the doctor is running late. I didn't get called in until 8:55 a.m. I don't remember ever waiting that long. My blood pressure reading was a bit higher than at home, but still a respectable 130/76. I lost a few pounds, but I already knew that from my daily weigh in's at home. I am especially looking forward to getting back my test results from my cholesterol test which they did today. Hopefully the medication is doing what the doctors claim. I still have to wait 3 weeks to see the cardiologist, and I have a few questions for him. I finally got a written copy of my echocardiogram report, and even though they told me it was normal, the written report says the "left atrium is mildly dilated" Exactly what does that mean? I won't stress out about it, but I will ask that question for sure.
Glad the appointment went well.:) It does stink waiting in a room for a doctor to come in. I once waited 40 minutes in a room at the pediatricians office. I will say though that he does talk a lot and spends a lot of time with the kids. Maybe too much? Good luck with your results.:)
