Our biggest worry is that it will break down or stay which it seems to have been doing a lot lately. We would only have time for it when we first got to the park so if we got stuck it would mess up the rest of the day with things the kid is really looking forward to. One trip report had a couple stuck on it for forty five minutes!!
If it ever truly gets stuck where it cannot be fixed quickly, you get to walk down it. We did that once a few years back. I actually don’t mind doing that. They always hand out paper fastpasses for other rides when that happens.

There is a snow storm in the Netherlands at the moment and they are predicting more snow for tomorrow, roads are icy and the airport is now closed for all flights. My brother and his family are on their way from Australia. I am now worried that A. They will get stuck in Beiing, were they have a layover, for a day or so until the airport opens again or B. They arrive in the Netherlands but no one can pick them up because of road conditions.
To top it off my sister's automated garage is broken down again and her car is stuck inside. The maintenance company is not sure if they can get someone there tomorrow to fix it. So even if the roads are clear my sister has no car.:banghead:
Sympathy like and good luck

We're all done holiday shopping. James finished up today, OMG he was a PITA about getting a gift for his BFF. First stop Sam's club for some things I needed, he walked in and within seconds he said I found the perfect gift $5400.00 after I stopped laughing the words heck no or something similar:angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic: came out of my mouth. 3 stores later and almost on budget he found something. If he gets me a cooking item he'll be sleeping in a tent until summer.

If you ever get a chance you should go see it. We went a few times when it was parked next to my job.

I did see it once. It was flying above Downtown Disney (before the renaming of it to Springs). It was on a weekend they were filming for the Christmas parade, so I think it was used in the filming. It was neat to see because I had never seen it before. I'm sure it would be more impressive up close. If given the opportunity I would totally fly in it, it wouldn't be as scary as a hot air balloon would be (which I would do but be super scared of).

We have an automatic garage door also, but we have the ability to open it if it breaks. Your sister should try and find a maintenance manual or look online. I hope your brother’s family will be ok.
Thank you, there is nothing we can do at the moment except wait till tomorrow and hope the weather improves.
My sister actually lives in an apartment building where you drive in and her car gets parked automatically. download.jpg
So the only way to get her car out is to get the garage fixed.

I am the same. Don't use google search. Just use them for email, contacts, music, GPS too. I use Bing as well for my searches.:)

Cute snowman. :)Do you guys speak English at home only? How do people in the Netherlands say mom?
We speak both English and Dutch, but mostly I speak English to them and my husband speaks Dutch. When DD was about 3, we were in the car and she said "Daddy, Mama says booger and you say snotje." That's probably about when she really made the connection that it was 2 different languages. And mom in Dutch is "mama".

That is the craziest thing ever...it would make me insane for my car to be held hostage.
