Yay! and Ewe!!!:depressed:

Belle needs to teacher her to bring it for approval.....
Belle doesn't just bring it for approval...she brings it to me alive and then is like, "Hey, watch what I can do!" The first one at least she just brought mostly dead...and then bit so it was all dead. Then she brought out the second one and had me watch while she killed it. She'd poke it, claw it, it would play dead and then try to scurry away...then she'd stop it and toss it in the air...until she finally gave it the killing bite. I was just as glad Jasmine took care of it without me having to watch.

No more mice as of yet. Thinking maybe any that were left were smart enough to get out.

Our cats used to play them to death, lol. One morning hubby was getting ready for work, went to put his boots on...and...SQUISH. One of them had left him a gift in his boot. :hilarious:

OMG I know people who can parallel park but otherwise can't drive and I also know a few people who've never driven on a highway
My ex learned to drive from his mother, who was an idiot. In Wyoming, you have to know how to drive in snow, since it snows so much there. She taught him to keep slamming on his brakes over and over as he came up to a stop sign when the roads were icy. He basically slid through every intersection in the winter because he kept slamming the breaks, which made him slide. I tried to tell him you hit the brakes and if you start to slide, you let up and slowly push down again, etc...nope....he insisted he was doing what his mother taught him and she knew best. Well, if she knows best, why is it that when -I- am driving, we don't slide through intersections and when YOU'RE driving we slide through pretty much every one? So glad I don't have to drive in that anymore, though!!

Our kiddos get both, but it differs for employees - banks, etc. are closed, blue collar workers are lucky if they get to choose one day off (it's considered a floater) - for most blue collar workers it's just a regular day.
My dh and his buddies at work all working Friday even though it's a scheduled day off by choice. Each and every one of them is a vet and that's how they want to spend their day:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Good morning, we are having sun today. Yesterday was snowy and cold. I was on last Friday. Friday evening, son-in-law invited us to watch the boy's soccer games. We went all day Saturday, in the cold wind....it was blowing 60 mph. I woke up on Sunday with a major migraine. Daughter invited us to brunch...we went and had a very nice time. We got Thanksgiving ironed out. Yea! We will be with SIL and the boy's noon until 5 p.m. then on to daughter's for the evening. So I had a headache for Sunday, Mon. and Tues. today I feel much better. Now, I have major ketchup to do. The snow and ice probably kept the headache going for longer and changing the clocks didn't help either. Missed you all. Now, on to Christmas.....what to do? ;););) Have a great day, I will be doing ketchup this afternoon. It's time to fix breakfast. I skipped dinner last night and went to bed early, so with the headache gone, I'm really hungry! @figment423 hubby brought home some rice cakes for me. Something I can eat when I don't feel well. Yea those will go for breakfast!
{{HUGS}} shipping a few margaritas shhhhh

I was a bit worried about Jasmine having any instinct after leash training, glad that was for naught.

Sympathy like.
Our high temp yesterday was 88.
Then we had a cold front come through last night, and our high was only 75 today... :cold: :coldfeet:

;) ;)
It got to 36 yesterday. We actually had sleet. That weather made today's 50 actually feel warm. Oh, to feel what 75 degrees feels like again. Hope I don't have to wait 6 plus months for that.
Interesting.:)
Oh my! Do you know my pop...?! That's always been another one of his that, I know, has saved me major grief, if not my own sorry darn life ;), over the years, and I've posted this before... "Drive like everyone except yourself is an *******, and you definitely stand a better chance of a longer life".

More perfect advice from him..,
"Green, actually, doesn't mean go. Green means check yourself in every direction, then go."

I love my pop...!!!!!!! :joyfull: :)
I always look right left right before I go through a light that just turned green. Plenty of people run red lights.
Neither did Disney and ESPN or Disney and their Speedway. But now they are trying to create their own version of Netflix, first pulling their films away from Netflix and now purchasing Fox Movies and other baggage Fox companies. It will be interesting to see if they can pull it off.

This could really upset Fox's way of doing business. Iger was pretty angry when he quit the Advisory Committee and got beat'n up pretty bad by Fox and Fox also took Disney to task. So Iger could have his revenge and get a Movie Studio to replace MGM. Interesting. Very Interesting. If Disney pulls this off this could be a major news media coup! Much broader than just the Disney vs Netflix. Never underestimate what Iger is plotting.
Actually it will just be for the entertainment portion, and not Newscorp. From what I read yesterday, the 2 parties are not discussing a merger currently.

I much prefer shopping at stores than online but hate lines so I try and get done early. that being said I may or may not have popped into a store or 2 a day or 2 before Christmas just to take a look at all the panicked people:oops:

Panicked indeed.
Unfortunately, I was stuck right in the middle of it all when I was a CM at the Disney Store and with those other retail jobs...madness, I tell you...!!!!!!!  ;)

I had that moment when my mechanic called today to tell me what is up with my truck. Oy
Hope it isn't too expensive.
While I don't live in hunting country, didn't grow up with it...still gives me the chills.
I gave up feeling sorry for the deer when on my honeymoon, after driving out of Yellowstone and into Montana, a mule deer ran full speed sideways across the road and slammed into the car we were driving. The car got totaled but dh was great. He maneuvered the car beautifully, and while the passenger side glass got blown out and spewed into the car, he kept it from rolling over into a ditch. Funny story, well, not funny then. The person who owned the fence that our car ended up against and damaged, didn't care that we almost died. He was just worried about his fence. Another person who drove by wanted to just try and get the deer for the meat. In case you don't know, those things are like horses and not bambi type deer. We were told we were very lucky. Angels were watching over us that day.

Both of my kids have professional non blue collar careers. Neither have Veterans Day off.
Yea, Veterans Day has the same impact on the public that Columbus Day currently does. That's OK though, because many of us went in the service and really didn't expect any great appreciation. My time was so many years ago that any alleged appreciation really doesn't come across as anything much more then forced gratitude.

We now are being used to justify bigotry when in reality we served to support and defend things like free speech, freedom of religion, the right to peaceful protest and the ever famous American dream of equality for all. That has been kicked to the curb really hard lately.

I'm easy to buy for! A winter without snow:D

I heard that's out of stock for the century.

I WISH!!! The last few years where we are, we've gotten snow absolutely dumped on us. There was one year where we had 5 storms in a row (4 days, maybe a week apart) that we got 3 feet of snow each storm. It was horrific. I'm just glad we live down the street from our electric company's repair facility...we may lose power, but the longest it's ever been off (during Sandy, I think) was a couple of days.

It's really horrible to see that kind of thing happening today. Thank you very much for your service.
