I hope not too. Epcot is unique. Once free of IPs. A very different offering. Disney at its best offering different experience not just an extention of every other park. I really want dollars spent to fix the failings but don't want to loose what Epcot is.

Figment is beloved. To loose it to a very mediocre Disney film, I don't get that.

Absolutely.

Regarding the mediocre Disney film, I've never even heard of it until this week, when someone mentioned it as a rumor. I wonder how many other people are also unfamiliar with it? o_O (At least with Pandora, I've never seen it, but heard about it for years.)

Inside Out might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it helps connect children to their emotions, realize all emotions are good and important, and is even being used as a tool in child psychological treatment.

A pavilion about emotions would be really cool to see.

I write checks every month for all the bills. Never felt secure with online banking. (Fully realize I'm in the minority here.)

Been doing online for years and have never had a problem. That one check is the number of checks that I write per month. When I can't do online, I let my bank pay whatever regular monthly payments via their check. My rent is paid that way. I used to be able to directly pay them, then they decided that they should charge me extra for direct access. I made a minor scene wanting to know what asylum that decision came from to think that I will pay you to have access to my account. You don't want it that way... you can process the check for free. I believe I have mentioned that people are stupid but usually the online payment method has been painless. I still manually input the payments (no automatic ones, except my rent and car lease) but, I save time and postage.

What constitutes an organic egg? Don't they still come out of a hens butt? Does it mean that no antibiotics are used in the chicken feed so we get eggs from sickly chickens? Sometimes I don't think everyone thinks these things out. ;)
I believe it means the chickens are free roaming and whatever is fed to them contains no pesticides or gmo products. They also are not supposed to have antibiotic or hormones injected.

So then... sick, insect laden chickens. I think sometimes we need do the pro's and con's with all our decision. We currently live longer then our ancestors because we had those added, nature isn't always on our side.

We get our eggs straight from the farm. The chickens are healthy and large, and surprisingly friendly to my toddler who always wants to pet them.

Beyond being organic and gmo free (which is usually a money grubbing racquet, imo) the eggs last longer, don't have to go in the fridge, and have a richer flavor.

Eggs are like..25-45 pesos (between 2-4 USD) a dozen depending on the store.

Is there really any difference in those "organic" eggs?
Because I remember the scam of limes and other "organic" food that was actually bought in the local walmart and resold for higher prices lol
Well, therein lies the catch. Do we really know where stuff comes from? Do we really know what organic means? Or do we just like the sound of it, because it sounds healthy, and just go for it because of that. I'm not saying it is true or that it isn't better, maybe it is. I just wonder how people know where their food comes from all the time and if they are being conned into paying more for something that really has no true significance even if it is truly organic. Whenever, I buy a bottle of bottled water the thing that crosses my mind first is I wonder if they used the kitchen tap to fill this or the bathtub. (or even maybe a garden hose)

Here's where lots of homework is involved. Organic refers only to how they're fed and medicated. They must be fed a totally organic diet. As far as how happy the birds are that's not so regulated free range only requires the have access to the outdoors not that they do go outside or aren't cramped up:( pastured means they are outside a certain percentage of time again the word isn't tightly regulated. Both farm markets i get eggs from are the happy old fashioned family farms where the birds have a coop and yard:joyfull: I've picked up eggs from both when the farm markets are closed:joyfull:

You raised an interesting point, and it does make me pause here for a bit. Perhaps nowadays at the (organic) places, they're more careful with the conditions of the chickens.

Down through the years, a number of the (non-organic) egg farms had tons of violations in the health code, and in those cases, I definitely would want them to be given antibiotics.

So maybe the choice now is to pay more for (trusted, well researched places) that have organic eggs, if you can pay more. If you can't pay more and have regular eggs, then we can take some comfort in knowing that perhaps the worst diseases have been knocked out by antibiotics. I think I'm just glad that I don't eat many eggs!! ;)

I know where quite a bit of our food comes from most of the year:joyfull: I have even met a few of the critters:( and people ask me why I don't eat meat:cautious:

Now that is a classy managerial response. I'm impressed. How did they know how to contact the DWifey?

In Illinois they cannot comp any alcohol. Strangely they can offer it but not comp it. I kinda get that. Let us know how that goes the next go around.
I went to a inlaw wedding a couple weeks after my DS was born. He was a very rough delivery and I was still very ewe and wobbly. (I was in hospital 5 days if that gives you all a hint.)

My MIL took it upon herself to make me a dress for the wedding, I hated it, so not me. Creepity to have your wear chosen for you too. Anywhoo I had a plated Wedding dish dumped on me, my first outing after the birth and so not up to it in the first place. Managements response was they'd pay for the dress cleaning. :jawdrop: Instead I tossed it.

DWifey monitors our bank account activity very closely. Late Tuesday morning she noticed the charge for our Kerby Lane brunch had not yet cleared our account, and she thought that was a bit unusual. So, she called Kerby Lane to inquire. The manager on duty took DWifey's number, said she would look into it, and call her back later. The charge cleared our account early Tuesday afternoon. And, then, that evening DWifey got the call from the Kerby Lane GM. :)

Yea, I haven't researched it, but, the law is probably the same or similar here. If not, then it's obviously just a common sense expense/liability thing for those types of businesses. We're not those people, but, I can see a table full of people gettin' totally trashed on all kinds of expensive comped booze, and then hittin' the road to tragedy. Then the establishment, et al., getting the stew sued out of them. Legal or not, definitely not a smart move on so many levels.

And, yikes! to that last part... :cyclops:
