Aside from early elementary school none of my PE classes or coaches were ever co-ed or male taught/coached. In high school we changed what we were doing in PE and PE instructors 2x a quarter. From the time I was in middle school every single PE teacher I had was pure evil. Mean evil-loved to mess with the students. You could tell they got pleasure out of it. In high school my homeroom teacher was a dance PE Instructor and also did Poms. Never had her for a teacher but she was a sweetie. She was right out of college and the other female PE teachers were not nice to her, often made her cry.
All of my PE classes were coed except for high school where we were divided by athletic ability(so many points for sprinting, long distance running, sit ups, etc.). Somehow I got put in a group mostly boys:hungover:. Nothing like teenagers feeling even more awkward:mad:

I'm thinking about popping in deathly Hallows pt1 just to see flying around London(one of the prettiest movie scenes ever). Or maybe BATB not sure which version. It's a good day when that's what's on your mind:joyfull:

NJ is now in the 90s. Today (Monday) and tomorrow it is also predicted to be 95F
Thankfully Wednesday it is supposed to drop below 80.

BTW, a friend of mine from a previous forum came over to WDWMagic and made his 1st new member post on my "Anything Donald, Don, or "Donnie" thread. If he comes back to the thread, feel free to welcome him or enter another "Donald-ish" answer.
(Thank you for considering my optional friendly request)

Was it the girl? Like she wasn't appreciative of the gifts? Or was it her parents who were rude about it? My ex-Sister-in-law was horrible about gifts. She insisted we draw names for Christmas. Hubby got her name. She set the price limit herself and then every gift on her list was over the price limit except for a lipstick she wanted and kleenex. (Yes...she put kleenex on her Christmas list.) So we got her the little purse/pocket size packages of kleenex and I wrapped them up in different ways....2 stacked up, 2 side by side, 2 end to end...so they all looked different, but she had more packages to open. After she opened the first ones, she complained that they weren't on her list...she wanted the kind in the box, but she hadn't specified on her list. Then every package she came to, she rolled her eyes and told the next person "You go...I don't even need to open this to know it's more kleenex I didn't want." And then my MIL had gotten her a glass cake stand just because she got us all a few little things and thought it was something we might like...I got one too. Ex -SIL says "Why would I need this? It wasn't on my list." I have never ever met anyone as rude and ungrateful as she is. It scares me to think there's someone who might be as bad or worse!! I hope the grad wasn't THAT bad. How does your hubby feel about doing all this stuff they expect from him? It's not like they can DO anything to him, right? And what about his parents? Are they still around? What do THEY think about it?

It was her and her parents. Basically they thought that she should be getting more money than she did. They thought every check should be at least $100 and if it was less they were all like, why didn't so and so give more because they can afford it or why wouldn't so and so give you more money we are such good friends. Keep in mind the parents are both engineers and make boatloads of money. The grad girl, I think started to realize how petty it was, and mentioned how bad they were being and she didn't make many more comments, but I had enough and escaped. I don't care if someone gives me a small Dollar Store gift, it is the thought that counts.

Hubby likes to keep the peace with these people and his parents have passed away a long time ago. But I think he is finally realizing how his sisters are.

Annnd, put in order by date, my top 10 pictures (since I can only include 10 at a time, and I didn't want to upload all of them to this site :p )

Cool pictures. Alaska keeps moving up on my travel top ten. The reindeer sausage pizza is very intriguing.

He was probably conditioned to their behavior, all the time that he was growing up with them. His defense mechanism was probably just tuning them out. You're an outsider (in a sense) to his family, because you didn't grow up with them. So you could see that the women (his siblings) were lunatics, right off the bat! :p

Family dynamics are tough to deal with, let alone even try to figure out. He's between a rock and a hard place with those gals. He probably does the minimum around them, just to keep in touch with the family. The more people I know, the more I find it difficult to find people whose family is not, in some way, dysfunctional !! ;)
