Sympathy like! Wow....I can't believe they offered you NOTHING. You should at least have that meal comped! And how do you lose a credit card between the table and the computer? Sounds fishy to me. Glad your trip is good besides that!! I loved Soarin.
^^^^^^THIS @betty rose you have the patience of a saint. Me not so much. I wouldn't have been quite so nice about it.

My mom bought me a fidget spinner. Since I got it, I have spent more time with it than I have on my phone. I even timed it to see how long it would keep spinning (two minutes).

Normally, I don't understand kids and teens, but this...I get it.
If you got a purple one and put some disney stickers on it would that make it a "Figment" spinner ?

Just a quick note. We all slept too late, so our plans had to change. We went to Epcot, did Spaceship Earth, living with the Land, Soarin' I liked Soarin' much better this time. It's a zoo with way too many people. We didn't take any pictures, except our lunch at San Angel. The beef taco's were horrible, beef was tough as shoe leather, and over done. The waiter made us wait for a long time to get our food. The server was pretty surly. We we finished, we asked for the check. It came fast, then ,the wait.....when the server came back, after a really long time...he said they were having computer troubles. We paid, with a Disney card, which the server didn't return. They looked through the restaurant and couldn't find it. We went to Guest Relations, to get the card straightened out. We had to call the bank, and cancel the card. And be issued a new card with the money put back on. Disney offered nothing for their mess up. 3 hours later we came back home. Disney need's to work with the employee's at San Angel. Lousy food and service. We won't be going back. On the positive side, many employees were friendly and went out of their to make our time, so far pleasant. Over all, it is going well, except for this one experience at San Angel.

Just couldn't give you a "like" for this one!!! Can't believe how awful your experience was. Sorry to hear about this. I was literally stunned when I read that the server "lost"??? your credit card? What in heck is going on there? :jawdrop:  :banghead:

I agree, see my post about San Angel. Never going back. The atmosphere is nice, but the food and service was really lousy.

San Angel has really nice atmosphere--one of the nicest themed restaurants, in my opinion. (I ate there quite a few years ago, when I went with a friend.)

But just in general, from the reviews I've read over the years, there's practically no middle ground with that place. They either nail it 100% with the food, or it's horrible. Service is the same deal--great or lousey. Never seen place with consistently polar opposite customer reviews. That would be enough for me to avoid it at this point.

Sorry, but I hate fidget spinners and the person who created them was definitely not a middle school teacher. I understand that they can be good for ADHD kids, but our middle schoolers just can't use them properly. They use them to try to "cut" paper, spin them at each other, deconstruct them, etc..... And then there are some that when spinning make a whirling noise. They are annoying, I hope this phase has passed when the next school year starts. Interestingly though, my high school students seem to have no interest in them.

Last night after work hubs and I saw the new Pirates movie. It was pretty good and entertaining. If you see it there is an interesting scene at the end of the credits.

After the movie we went to a British style pub, good food and good beer. I forgot to take food pictures but I did take a picture of my Black and Tan.

Wow! Your Dad is young for that. I know some guys are mules but they do have larger print menus available at all the restaurants. My Mom has that issue and I bought her a $3 flashlight that clicks on like a ball point pen top and about the same height and width as a pen. Has helped a lot in darker restaurants for her.
We had decided on what we wanted. So vision is not the issue, it was the service and poor food. We were all still under the weather today. Montazuema got us. We moved on and are looking forward to Guy Fierie's restaurant tonight.

Hahaaa...!
I didn't even start to feel "old-ish" at all until about my mid 40's. Even now, at 69, I still don't feel "old".
If you think you feel old this early in your life, boy howdy, just wait for the rest of the ride to come...!!!!! :joyfull: ;)
I can't do the same things I did in the past. But, I wake up each morning feeling young, by mid-day it's middle age...still going with more effort...evening to night time, I'm ready for bed. But not the permanent bed! (coffin)
