We still watch it here. It comes in the Hallmark Channel. Today, the episode where Al nearly marries Ilene was on.

I watch it mostly for Randy. I enjoy his one liners. The boys overall are hilarious. We were watching an episode a couple of weeks ago where Brad and Randy nearly launch Mark into a tree until Jill stops them. I laughed so hard at that. :hilarious: And then the time they made Mark swallow a tadpole...so mean, yet somehow hilarious. Especially when Mark gets revenge.

I really loved Home Improvement, like you said their comedy was spot on and the kids had some talent. I don't care for the last few years when they started delving into social issues, from how Mark went to the dark side, Jill with breast cancer, Brad future rocked by an injury and Randy for the most part gone (which I respected his decision to go away in real life to college.)
It kinda lost it for me why I watched, to laugh.

My brother had one of those watches! And my daughter has a mood ring and scented gel pens...no longer markers, though I wanted those sooooo badly when I was a kid. We love crafting, so we got the gel pens.

Huffing was a real problem a decade or so ago with students inhaling all sorts of weird stuff to try and get a buzz. Markers were one of them. Our schools were constantly addressing the side effects and even brain dead or death. So the introduction of scented markers for kids to inhale just made me want to say whhhhyyyyyyyyyy? But it was funny to see kids with marker on their noses from smelling them lol.

I've used those before at Hershey Park. They have complimentary lockers near Skyrush because they don't let you take your bags through the line on that one. Normally, there's a bag drop area at the entrance of the ride, but for that one, they have you lock up your stuff, and then anything else you may have (cell phones, keys, etc.) they have you leave at the beginning of the ride.

Anyway, I didn't think the lockers were that bad. It was the same thing you were describing, where you would go to a machine and it would assign you a locker, except no charge for the use. I just always use the same pin that I use for my phone. If I'm with my parents, we have a standard one we use that's an old alarm code we retired several years back. I actually prefer it because I'm afraid I'll lose the key.

Think about it this way: your stuff is probably more secure because if you lose the key and it has the locker number on it, then someone could pick up the key and know exactly which locker to go to.

Maybe they should put characters on the lockers. Make it easier to remember. Instead of being assigned to locker A113, you're assigned to the Minnie locker. Or the Cinderella locker.

I like the digital lockers too, we use a code that is easy to remember and take a picture of the number. Hubby puts the receipt with the locker number on it in his wallet. I suppose that wouldn't be the best way to remember the number though if you couldn't carry anything on to the ride.

A kid a couple grades above me, ended up with brain damage from huffing markers then he moved on to other household goods for huffing too. Last I heard he lives in a group home and basically a toddler's brain functions. Not good for a kid that had been on the honor roll.

I noticed that, I realize Disney is somewhat of a captive audience but...............

It drove us crazy a few years ago how much we spent on bottled water for our group. We ordered and had delivered to our room 2 cases of water. We'd still buy a bottle or get a bottle with a QS meal but we went through the 2 cases.
$216 Disney $12 for 2 cases delivered plus tip. Didn't even have to schlep it to our room.

Characters for lockers is a great idea. Some of these bays of lockers are huge. So if each section had a different Character or Theme you might remember where yours was.

We decided to drive into St. Paul then for lunch, we thought we would eat at an Italian deli, but we saw a new Bierhaus and Sausage place had opened so we decided to eat there and then have dessert at the Italian deli. It ended up being a good choice. The sausages were very tasty.
I started with a local beer flight, the beers were a little light for me but still tasty.

A view of the Italian deli. We got hazelnut and dark chocolate gelato here and a chocolate peanut butter mousse bomb. Then we shopped the deli and brought home a bunch of good stuff.

I noticed people driving poorly in that area and that was before it was finished and in testing. I hope this settles down once it's just part of the landscape.

We noticed that in the fall too, thankfully we were in an Uber so our heads could be on a swivel.

Got to say though on Disney Property daily there are enough accidents. Just too many people who are not familiar with their surroundings and distracted.

Add in all the fools driving while taking a picture of the Welcome Arch. They should just park a team of paramedics there as a satellite firehouse.

Ha! That genuinely made me laugh. Just being in the know of how to actually be able to reach Disney reservations on the days offers are released, setting an alarm to book FP+ and ADRs is a challenge to seasoned veterans.

Now do you pay the upcharge of $25 to ride an internal bus between parks so you don't waste touring time going through security areas.

This one actually seems like a brilliant move by TWDC money-grubbers. I think many will "upgrade".
Upcharge cabanas were a bust. Cutting down on transportation time might be a winner...?! :cyclops:

That's an excellent idea. I had wondered if you could purchase one for an adult, but never tried it. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future, for times when I'm not that hungry, due to the heat.
How would they know you weren't ordering it for a child? I don't think they can keep you from ordering a kids meal, even if you are on the meal plan. Of course, if you're on the dining plan, it's not a good use of credits to order from the kids menu, but they'll LET you.

We celebrated DD's birthday with my in-laws today and I had planned to take her shopping in Arnhem and stop in at this cupcake shop we love, but I went to look up the hours last night and discovered it is permanently closed. :( So I went looking to find out what happened and if it was truly closed or just moved, and discovered the lady still takes orders and bakes from her home. She was very accommodating and even though it was almost 10 pm, she took my order and made us delicious caramel popcorn cupcakes.

Aaaacccckkk!! I wanted to give you a like for the information (I do appreciate it though), but I hated those stupid things!!

Part of it is just me--I don't like surprises. I've been going to B Beach and T Lagoon for many years. You always went to the swim shop and got the towel, and paid for a locker. The other thing that I didn't like was how the new system is so impersonal. Yah, they also probably got rid of some "extra" CMs for these do-it- yourself lockers. :(
Can I ask you something? You said you've been going for years...did you ever do Shark Reef and did you have to pay extra for it?

I remember them all. I never got to try the colored ketchup though, my mom said that they were too expensive and would probably be gross.
I honestly don't remember the ketchup, but then I don't eat ketchup or really any condiments, so it's not surprising that this wouldn't have been on my radar. I don't think changing the colors would have improved the taste.

Just curious--does that save you a lot of money? I found most things priced about the same. At the ABC Commissary for example, if you got the Mediterranean salad, that was $10, but if you got it with chicken it was $12.99. (That's only a few dollars difference--not much of a savings.)

Perhaps over the course of a week, that might add up. But I also looked a portion sizes as well. Some places were generous, and others were more skimpy. Unless a salad was more substantial (and I don't mean just more salad greens to fill up the bowl), those choices might not fill me up, if I was more hungry.

An exception might be the vegetable platter at Tangierine Cafe for $12.99.

This

I could do a Do You Remember on the foods that use to affordable at WDW.
Salad use to be one of them.

I can't have dairy so no loss for me. Disney has several vegan choices and a few nice sorbets I can eat for the same price as regular ice cream so I'm not complaining because they cost more in the supermarket.

Speaking of sorbets, I had the BEST raspberry sorbet at the ice cream parlor on Main Street USA. There's no added sugar, either. I was dying in the heat one afternoon, and I got the sorbet--think I inhaled it, it was so yummy and cold!! ;)

I'm pretty sure that Heinz rolled out three or four ketchup colors- pink, aqua-green, purple, and then blue (or am I imagining blue?).

It was totally a publicity stunt, and I think the colored ketchup tasted just like regular ketchup, but it was definitely a 90s thing that I'm okay with not returning.

I don't remember pink or aqua colors of ketchup only purple and green. I so would have bought the other two if they had them in our area, my DD would have had so much fun. And yes it tasted the same.
