Okay, here's the other reason yesterday was a carppy day.
This is entirely, 100% my fault, because as an exclusively commissioned salesperson, I often count my chickens before they are hatched.

Sounds like Hubby's partner M. will be back in time for the grand opening. This is wonderful news, and I am pleased that he is recovering ... buuuuuut, that's $50K gone.
Aaaaaaand, they will only be getting 28 lots to sell, rather than 40, which means another 60K fffffftttttt, gone.

So, while I never had it, I sorta lost more than $100K yesterday, if only in my mind.

Aaaaaaand ... if Hubby and M. wrap up their site in time, they will be going to the Bolton site, and I will have to wait for the Brampton site. This is the least disturbing news. As long as one of us goes to Bolton, I don't care who it ends up being.

Oh, and I spent 20 minutes talking on the phone to my old partner G. He still hasn't been told that he isn't being re-hired. I phoned the Boss, gave her ship, and to stop being cruel and just rip off the dang bandaid. She's not doing him any favours by ignoring his calls. And certainly not doing me any favours, forcing me to string him along until she gets the b*lls to cut him loose.

Surprises like that you don't need. I hope that, despite these unforeseen setbacks, you and your hubby will still make enough money on commissions this coming year.

So.....

Your brother used his last Get out of Jail Free card

Your son threw out his typical car fit and frosted it with his I'm Moving threat

And your employer re-dealt the deck that is a Loose, Loose, Loose proposition.

:O
Stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces every time
And I don't need no carrying on

'Cause you had a bad day

Ok, I sang to you, do you feel better now? :)

Ha!! Is that our favorite Walter in that convoluted sleeping position, and in such an exotic location??!!! :hilarious: This is the funniest picture I've seen in a long time!! :joyfull:

No, it was on my twitter feed and I laughed a lot too! I'd love to know what all those electrical cords are hang'n around there though.

Walt isn't a hider. Actually the only dog I've had that didn't tuck themselves somewhere. I had Queen Ann giant wing back chairs in my living room and the Shepard went behind it in the corner to sleep or hide when she was naughty.

The boy Golden wasn't afraid of anything but always found a safe place out of the way to sleep. He was the one that was distraught when I broke down his dog crate out of my dining room, he'd just crawl in when he was tired and crawl back out when he was done. I had two young mobile kids when he came to live with us at about 5 months. He was my best dog and my dog, he knew I rescued him. He was also in love with the Girl Golden but she had no use for him.

The girl Golden earned that breeding nasty name early on in life. She was a stubborn mule and hard to break. She was afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. Young, she use to run down to the basement and hide in the corner of the sectional. When she was older she hid in the bathtub.
