I'm sorry. We keep getting the warnings but are spared the frost we shall see what the morning brings again. I have early spring flowers in and a few tomato plants that I keep covering with buckets at night. The flowers leaves have turned purple due to the cold but are still thriving despite.

Did you loose anything. Some of our farms have lost everything here 'cause the rain washed away the all the plowed seeds. Not a good start. Winter had nicer warmer weather than we are getting. Everything is still ponding, squishy, or downright muddy.
Oy. Though for about 30 minutes today the sun did come out. Still better than snow.
Our apple and pear trees had already flowered so I'm sure it will impact this year's yield, but only time will tell...

The only roller coaster I can ever remember having gotten even remotely close to motion sickness on is Poltergeist at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio.
I just call it "Spaghetti"...!!! :hilarious:

You are being flipped, flopped, turned and twisted all along the entire ride. The part that gets me is the the sharp turn into a double corkscrew right at the very end just before the coaster is braked. Has never left me more than a bit dizzy for more than about 30 seconds, so the ride is sooo beyond worth it...!!!!! :joyfull: :)

Wow! That looks like one crazy coaster. It might be fun but I'd probably have a headache after that for sure.

THNX. My dh is now working the overnight and he didn't have to go in early which meant I wound up staying up a bit later than usual. I'm sorry to hear about your dishwasher. Have you checked to see if there are any kinks in the hose? or checked the power to the pump? A while back I though my washing machine was dying and it turned out to be about $4 in change clogging the hose, knock wood. Good luck and I hope it's nothing serious
It works fine now, but I think it's our drain. We share drainage with our next-door neighbors and we've had several problems over the years...it gets clogged and can't keep up with the amount of water draining, especially if you have a dishwasher and a washing machine going at the same time. Or if the sink is running while the dishwasher is going...it gets backed up. So I think probably it was that I was doing laundry and hubby was doing dishes. Then after I got it running again, the neighbors were probably doing something at the same time. Our dishwasher has a safety feature where it will turn off if it's in danger of flooding. So I think the drainage got backed up and the dishwasher turned off to keep the water from flooding into the house.

Twitter is still exploding. Instagram even crashed this evening.
The upside is posters have gone from rage of the day to some very humorous postings. My DD and I have now had a few great belly laughs. Some people are so creative and witty.
I haven't jumped into Instagram yet, but I do use Twitter. To be honest, I've been cutting back on who I follow. The amount of garbage being thrown out there was just ridiculous and I finally decided I really don't need any more people telling me how I should think... :cyclops:

Mayo on a french dip? Is the place run by Paula Deen?
So I'm not crazy? I thought...mayo on french dip? That sounds disgusting and horribly unhealthy. I'm glad I asked about whether it came with a pickle (I don't want a pickle anywhere near my food!) and she said no, it's just the sandwich and fries, but the sandwich has mayo on it. ??? No condiments, please.

Ha! And Dear Lord that is a lot of pills woman! :jawdrop:

Wanta hear some good news. Since I needed to schedule my Mom's bone marrow test into my schedule to get her to the hospital I bought a little time. I haven't spoken to her since she decided to have her old hip drilled. (her body, her call). So I get a call from my Mom this morning and she tells me I have Friday Free again. "I just called the doctors office and cancelled the Bone Biopsy" and errr what??? I say. "2 blood tests and one DNA Blood scan and he tells me everything came back negative. I'm not letting him drill a hole into my hip at 83 years old to tell me again everything is negative as he said it likely would last week. I'm done. Oh and thanks for going with me, it gave me the courage to say NO!"

Score One for Mom! :)
That's fantastic!!! And way to go mom for saying no! It sounds like that's pretty huge for her!

I like mayo but even that is too much for me. I do like a little mustard on my French dip, it adds a little zing.

Do you live in an older building that was retrofitted with newer modern conveniences?

I stopped eating jello when I learned how it was made. This was when I was still eating meat. It just grossed me out. My kids actually don't like it. I bought it for them and they tried it and it just sat in the fridge.

My husband like Jello but I've never been a big fan. And if I'm going to eat that sugar, I would rather have ice cream or pudding.

@Goofyernmost , how are things in N.C.? I hope the weather settled down, as I know there was quite a lot of rain recently down there. I'd ask my brother who also lives in N.C., but he's usually oblivious to everything! :hilarious: (Come to think of it, I believe that's a family trait. :p )
It's been a bit on the cool side since the big rains last week. Flooding around here is different then places you see on the news. Creeks will overflow and within a couple of hours after the storm you would never be able to tell that there was water there. Minor amounts of rain since then, but, mostly clear and sunny. Lows at night in the 50's and highs in the day, upper 70's.

My long time friend and I have now been to DL and WDW together. We went to WDW right when FP+ was rolling out.

In WDW:
Her: So what are we doing today?
Me: We are going to DHS. We have a Star Tours FP at noon, then Tower of Terror and RnRC at 3 and 4. We'll do Tower at 3:45 so we can go right on RnRC. We have Prime Time for dinner at 5 and depending on the weather, we might stay for Fantasmic. If we don't do Fantasmic tonight, we'll ride TSM at the end of the night.

In DL:
Her: So what are we doing today?
Me: *shrugs*. Dinner is at 6.

She laughed at me and my differing reactions to that question. :hilarious:
Have you been to DLP? I had to make detailed plans with WDW and I'm wondering how much planning I will have to do for DLP and if I can even plan most of it! I can't find menus for any of the buffets that even list the KIND of food they might have.
