Might have to try the whole ocean thing. It is v awkward dealing with family you don't like on an island 1/2 the size of WDW.

Yikes...do you have a big family? My relationship with my family has only improved for putting some space between us. It would be hard to be locked on an island with them. You have my sympathies. Family is great...in small doses.

I'm hoping that when dad's estate is settled, I'll be able to afford another trip to DisneyWorld. We'll see. I've told hubby I want to go to F&W for our 25th anniversary. That will be in 2026, so we have 9 years to plan and save, both kids will be adults and we won't have any restrictions on time of year. Our anniversary is near the end of September, so with luck, the F&W will start around there and we can get some VIP treatment and I hope to have enough saved to stay at one of the deluxe resorts. There might be some decent discounts, too, since it's after the summer, but before the October rush. Not exactly winning the lottery, though I wouldn't mind that either, but whatever gets me there, I'll take!! My kids have to be in school during the F&W time, so I can't go until they are adults.I'm good for that too. It takes a big lotto win, just to eat dinner at Disney!
