My lil' sis hasn't sent him yet. I just texted her and said not to worry about sending him (just to drag him along next time they head this way), but, asked her to send me a pic.
As soon as I get it I'll post it...! :)

Hahaaa...!
So funny, just as I was replying, she sent me a pic...here's my old Teddy Bear...!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious: :)

I always hated office parties, everyone trying to out do the other people. Mostly just more office politics. Private parties, about 1 out of 100 are successful.

One of my BFFs always had a Halloween Party. They were so much fun. 20 years and she retired from that. 20 years is a long time. Those parties would last for some until dawn-she'd go to bed and her hubby would stay up with the hanger-on'ers.

As the years past...it was about 8-midnight. Funny what happens as we age.

For office parties I had a rule for myself. Never Ever Drink. Same with my School Board Convention evening gatherings.
Figured that was what those little bottles of individual glasses of wine were invented for-in my room.

Oh, I'm pretty much uncomfortable around EVERYONE at parties. I usually feel like I don't fit in anywhere and people are wishing I would just go away. (I have some issues with insecurity and anxiety) Logically, I know they probably aren't...like Dr. Phil always says "You wouldn't worry about what people think about you if you knew how seldom they do" but jerk brain doesn't always listen to that logic. Sometimes, like this weekend, I find a group that is so inclusive and welcoming, I can't help but have fun, even if I'm only there because they are my BROTHER'S friends and I'm staying with him. They are so much fun to hang out with that it's infectious.

I wouldn't have known what to say to that revelation....I would have stayed silent, too. A friend of my brother's told me when I was moving to the Netherlands "Yeah, I asked him if it was going to bother him, you being so far away, and he told me that it was going to be nice to have some distance between you." What do you even say to something like that? And WHY would you TELL someone that a person said something so mean-spirited about them? Where is the filter??

Was liquor involved?

Some people just love to stir the pot.

It is fun to think that someone loves the place, enough that they can't let go. There is a building next to the hotel, that has more disturbing stories. You can do a tour, if you are over 21 and sign a waver. Recently a woman had to be taken out on a stretcher, and sent to the hospital. She was literally scared out of her mind. I don't want to do that, the lady of the hotel play's the piano in the music room, some evenings. I think Destination America had mentioned the Stanley Hotel, for one of Stephen King's books. I have a book on the Stanley hotel, daughter got a "picture" of the woman at the top of the stairs. She was just pointing and shooting and didn't see anything until she looked at her photograph. I can't remember, but she wrote an article along with her picture, for a show in England, about hauntings around the world.

My favorite show I first remember being scared as a little kid is
The D ick Van D yke Show, The Ghost of A. Chantz

Thanks! :)
As silly as it may sound, it's actually pretty cool to see him again after all these years...! :inlove: :D ;)
I'm not sure who tried to do surgery on him, but, I don't remember the rip in his chest. :cyclops:
No biggy, I'll just stitch 'im up when I eventually get 'im back...! :)

Danger Will Rogers!

Likely his tummy was punctured cause his 'skin' is thin and a bit dry rotted. Look carefully to make sure it will survive the 'ole needle and thread-pulling. We sent my Sis' original
Mrs. Beasily to the doll hospital for head body reattachment.

Out for me today. I'm going to bed early, an early day tomorrow. Daughter has an appointment with the Doctor. Just routine stuff. We are helping, by lining her shelves in kitchen, bathrooms...the boy's love the new apartment. They each have a separate deck. We saw 6 prarie dogs and a long eared bunny, while sitting on their deck. Mom has a deck too. They have tons of birds and squirrels. The squirrels throw pine cones at your head as you walk under their trees! So funny !

OMG! I'd love to see a video of the squirrels beaning humans with pine cones!

Yes, if my attempt at repair even remotely looks like it's causing more damage than repair, I will either just leave him as he is, or possibly take him somewhere where the can do it properly.
Most likely the former...he doesn't seem to be complainin' too much...! ;) :)

You mean when he told me that? No..he worked at Kmart and I was going through his checkout line and he said he had heard I was moving overseas. Was their alcohol involved when my brother made the comment to him? Probably...that group of friends can't seem to hang out without copious amounts of alcohol. I'm not a big drinker. I think I was the only one at my table for Drag Queen bingo who wasn't trashed. I KNOW I was the only one who hadn't had ANY alcohol. But I don't think there's been a day I've spent with my brother that he hasn't had at least a beer or glass of wine, so it's entirely possible that he was drunk when he said it, but then, we are more likely to blurt out the truth when we're impaired, so if he said it when he was under the influence, I'm sure he meant it.
