Thanks . Just the rest of the garden to do. Gaston and Princess had priority.

That is awesome. I've missed something though. Are these ducks that just made your home their home or are they actually pets and permanent residents?

Yep, that's what I've always heard...it was all about long hair getting into the filter system, just like cutoff blue jean threads doing same, thus cutoffs not allowed.

Oh my goodness, the things Pool Managers have said over the years is so freak'n funny. Even the color shirts to prevent sunburn messing with the pool chemicals that was a good one too. Actually the worst thing for a pool is sunscreen. Causes all sorts of problems including cloudy water that is harmless except for the safety hazard making it difficult for lifeguards to see the bottom of the pool. Pool filters all have screens that catch hair and cut off threads, hair rubber bands etc. Yeah the screens need to be cleared but Dear Lord so does the sink filter in ones kitchen sink. Some managers are just obsessive.

In something completely random.. this morning had yet another horrible nightmare featuring a quake.
I still have no idea why always have the nightmare in the apartment building we used to live almost 10 years ago. I was never there when the biggest quake hit my town. I was at school. Yet I always see the apartment building and all surrounding buildings collapsing in a monstrous quake.
What the heck have you been eating?

I want another Pup. And I want a Puppy. I want a Pup that I can have from 6 to about 8 weeks old that I can train like I trained Walt. I want a Pup that is sturdy enough to go for long walks and also be able to run while I ride my bike.

Funny thing I'm noting in Hamlet. The people in my age demographic mostly have larger dogs that do not need a great deal of care.

Much younger than me but adults have these cute little pocket sized Pups (rat sized Pups) that they walk by carrying them around. Their humans do the walking for them. What the heck is that about? :joyfull:
Same here but smaller than a lab but not a pocket dog. Not another English Shepard if we wanted to get another of those it would be a while longer before I was ready:(

He's taken a liking to political discussions. Every night, hubs and I have these in-depth political and world events discussions, and Jack will bolt into the kitchen, sit on the floor and take it all in. You should see his dog face--he intently listens, but sometimes he sorta tilts his head, like he completely disagrees with our viewpoints. o_O :cat: (And yet, he adds nothing to the discussion . . . :hilarious: )
JACK 2020:joyfull:

My arm is a little sore from my shingles vaccination. There is a little pink patchy area around the injection sight, and a few pimply spots. Nothing too serious, I believe. I read that about 1 out of 3 people get this sort of reaction after the shot.
Sympathy like but I think it may be more than one in 3 my mom, my mil and a few of their friends all seemed to have reactions:rolleyes::cautious:

We lost yet another local farmer. Sad because we had very few left that grew multiple family type veggies. Our farms here are more about soy and corn.

I do love the fresh corn but everything else seems to be trucked in to professional framers market vendors. If that is the case I may as well go to the grocery store.
Sympathy like:(:(:(:( We're getting a new farmer at our local market. It's a very small farm specializing in greens :joyfull: runs and hides under large rock

Would Grandma consider staying with the boys for a long weekend, or an Aunt or Uncle?
Update we got an apology letter with vacation time for the kids.:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Of course it includes the 2 weekends when we have mandatory family functions:mad::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: This is the year with way too many weddings, major birthdays and anniversaries We would have been able to pull a few days off as a family if there weren't so many snow days that over a week was added to our schedule this year:banghead: I'm hoping for a quick get away next spring.

My husband can take really long "naps", they are usually an hour or two. So I don't think that is really a nap. My naps are usually 20 minutes, maybe 30 and I wake up refreshed. If I nap longer than that I get cranky. I usually only nap on weekends or on an afternoon break on my Disney vacation.
What's this break I keep hearing about at Disney. I always thought that was HOP of EUOE:hilarious:
