I spent about 30 min. in our local dead mall a year ago because I needed to buy cheap cheer shoes for dd6 at Payless. Walked by Bath and Body works and it was empty. Things were buy a few and get some free. Don't remember the exact promo, but I felt so bad for the workers that I bought too much. Needless to say I have not needed to purchase any soap products since. ;)
Every Christmas my mom gives us enough Bath and Body stuff to last until the next Christmas. :) I like using the antibaterial soap in my kitchen when I'm cooking.

I have loads of doilies my grandmother made. I have them all in a cabinet and never use them. I just keep them because she made them.
My family and I did one of those escape rooms about 2 months ago. It was an "Escape from the 70's" room. It was like walking into my dh's family's living room. It had a flower covered couch. The Archie Bunker chair. An afghan on the couch(which you needed to unfold for a clue.), Old board games, records, a tv playing old commercials and shows during your time in their. It was sooooo cool! We did solve the puzzles to get out, but I think my dh and I would have liked to have spent the day in their. Ah, the memories.:p

Cool, about your grandmothers doilies...! :)

Hahaaa...!
My family surprised me with a similar early Fathers Day present 2 years ago. It wasn't '70's themed, but, it was a blast...!!!!! :joyfull: :)

ETA: It was this place...

Ahem. 81 is 4th of July weather. Springtime Easter temps should be no more than 65.
Maybe up in Beantown, but here in Southern PA we will gladly take 81.;) By the way, going to get all history nerdy on you. Did you know that Pennsylvania was actually not named for William Penn? The King who gave the charter for PA to William Penn had owed Penn's dad a lot of money. When Penn's dad died, the debt was now owed to William. William simply asked for the debt to be repaid with land in the New World. The King was thrilled to be rid of Penn, because he was a Quaker and there was the whole Anglican, other Christian denomination issue going around then. Sure our dear friend @Mr Ferret 88 can fill in more on that.;) So King Charles II gave the Charter to Penn but wanted it named for William Penn. Penn said no. He wanted to name it after his father. So Pennsylania, which means Penn's woods(sylvania Latin for woods), is actually named for William Penn's dad. :)
