And a couple of slightly strange things today

Looks like someone didn't look for train signs.

And seriously who needs that much luggage?

Ha! Sometimes hubs and I call Disney Springs Disney's 5th gate, it seems like it is a theme park for food now

Food theme park -- :hilarious:

Yes, I found the "park" reference quite amusing as well. ;) But, now I'm thinking--(for newbies)--just exactly how is Disney marketing Disney Springs? If you've never been to WDW, would it appear to be another one of the parks at WDW? Just a random thought here--I wonder if she's not only one who misinterpreted the marketing campaign. (Then, too, some people don't pay attention to details, and might just quickly glance at the ad.)

I've had the same Iron for around 30 years. In fairness it doesn't get out much.

Yet, many of those old irons were practically indestructible. My grandmother had one of those big, heavy, metal irons and I can assure you that she used her a lot. It was the only iron she had--never replaced it and I haven't a clue just how old it really was--but I'd guess at least 20 years or more.

Often, appliances that were just basic (without the extra bells and whistles), and built of strong, metal parts, would outlast their newer model counterparts. Reminds me a little of some of those very old Singer sewing machines--with proper oiling, etc., they'd last a few generations! :jawdrop: :)

That, or Imagineer CMs is what I've always heard. Either way, always very fun...! :)
I've posted before about all the HMs I found in our local Disney Store that none of the CMs even knew about until I became a CM there, and I hipped them to them...!!! :)
We have no Disney Store near us. :( When we were in a more populated area and not near a dead mall, we would go into Disney Store to get our Disney fix.

We own all of them except The Good Dinosaur. I didn't like that one.
Never saw it in the theaters. I think that is the only Disney made for theater movie we didn't see in the theater. Dh and I don't care for dinosaurs. We did buy it when it came out though. I still haven't watched it and the kids just watched it once. I think that is the only DVD they have only watched once.

Sympathy like.
We used to have 3 here in Austin. We have just the one now in our local mall 5 mins. down the road, that I was a CM at for over 4 years, when I was laid off during the last economic downturn. Fortunately, we can still get our Disney fix. :)

Well if there was a retail store I would work at if necessary it would be Disney Store. I always loved getting greeted by the CM's. It always brought a smile to my face. :) I remember when they actually sold cells and would just stare and hope to be able to afford them one day.

I hope there are no more economic downturns for you. Just keep hoping for those people to go into your firms doors and asking for those $10 mil plans.;)
