Hahaaa...! I was thinkin' the same thing about the gum...!!! :hilarious:
I played a lot of baseball in my younger days, collected a lot of cards, and chewed a lot of bubble gum, and so did both my younger brothers...! :)
Really wishin' I'd a' hung on to all those cards...

Not necessarily--most of those cards are fairly useless, in dollar amounts. I have a friend who collected cards (hundreds and hundreds according to him) most of his life, and he's gone to many card shows down through the years. He told me that he can only view it as a hobby only now, as it's one of the worst investments you can make. Very few cards draw a premium in resale.

Do you remember these? Clackers. Instead of slamming each other they tended to knock you upside the head, mouth and eyes.

Or do you remember weaving pot holders?

Or remember washing your hair with Lemon Up? each bottle had the juice of a whole lemon.

Never saw that chalk holder thing before.

As a kid, I loved those pot holder loom kits. Made quite a few pot holders; they were actually quite sturdy and held up for years. :)

I remember everything but the Lemon Up. I hated the chalk line thing. Ooooh the sound of the chalk on the board. Shivers.
Notes were the best! Although I have to say that texting my dh during the day is still fun. And the upside is we won't get caught by a teacher. Oh the dreaded, "Read your note outloud to the class" thing.:(

I have a shoe box of baseball cards. Really wonder if any of them are worth more than I payed for them. Late 60's early mid 70's
I had loads of cards from the 70's. Everytime I catch a show about "antiques" and they have baseball cards I wonder. Don't know how much Tom Seaver is worth. ;) But I think it is mostly the cards from the turn of the century that are the ones worth the most.
