Don't you sometimes wonder if 'someone' doesn't do stuff like this on purpose just to see if anyone notices? Cheap trills. Hard to believe all day long nobody picked the laptop up and put it back on the desk.
I believe the hidden Mickey made from the plates at HM was because CMs rearranged them one day and they decided, "Well, that works" and left it.

I have never heard of Yankee Doodle Dandy, but, I have heard of Tastee-Freeze and House of Pies, and definitely Baskin Robbins and DQ.
The last BR I ever remember seein' 'round here was down on 29th and Guadalupe (aka "The Drag") down by the UT campus, but, it closed ages ago.
As far as DQ goes, they're all over the place down here.

And, that Des Plaines McDonald's is the first Ray Kroc franchise. The original restaurant chain started in So Cal. :)

All of our BRs here are with Dunkin Donuts.

So today was the day we could start booking onboard activities & shore excursions for our June Disney Cruise, and at about 6pm tonight I thought I'd go on and see what was available and got an early port arrival time. I wasn't planning on doing anything really. I ended up booking a massage for myself, a brunch at Palo, and there was one cabana left for our first stop at Castaway Cay (it's a double dip). So I snagged the private cabana, it is expensive so I don't know if we will keep it. But I knew for sure I wouldn't be able to book it later, I knew I could cancel it easily later though. I will be turning 40 during this cruise so it might be a nice birthday present to myself. Our second day at Castaway Cay is actually on my birthday so it would have been nicer on that day but it was all sold out on that day.
Love early arrival times. I like not having to worry about something going wrong.

Funny thing. We had a woolworth working until around 2010.
IT was bought and replaced by Liverpool brand if I remember correctly.
And I think its still running with the same WoolWorth's brand.
Its also one of the oldest department stores.. ever.. It opened in the 80's if I remember correctly.

We had a very small Woolworth until it closed in the late 70s. Then we had to drive ten miles to Kmart. Then it closed in the late 80s. Now we have to now drive a bit farther to get to WalMart.

Good day to everyone. We had a very nice spring break with the boy's. We did things around here, and it was fun.. Now for the bad news...I'm full of it this year, aren't I? Over the week-end my sister called and my brother-in-law, was trimming a tree...he fell off the ladder and broke 6 vertebrae in his back. He is going to be laid up for three month's. Time for a trip with my sister and brother-in-law. If he is well enough, we are going on the Oasis to Puerto Rico this time. It's a new place for us. We are excited to be back on the boat, again. I hope everyone is doing really well, I'm plodding along...helping the daughter get her house on the market. It's nice today....60 with sun, tomorrow...rain and snow. Typical, typical. I just got back from the grocery, and it's time to fix lunch. Talk with you all later....and trying to do some ketchup!:eek::eek:
Puerto Rico is one of the stops on our next cruise.

You've had more than your share of mishaps over the past year.

When things get lousey like that, there's only one way to go, and that's upward from here on. All that bad stuff will just fall by the wayside, and brighter days are ahead in your future. (By the way, I hope your daughter is o.k.--4 teeth is a lot. Were they wisdom teeth? I had my wisdom teeth pulled when I was younger.)
We keep thinking about our cruise. :)
