I like the idea of renting out space to bring in more people to save a store. I've gone into a JCP just for a Sephora item and wound up buying a shirt or something else. It saved me a trip elsewhere:inlove:

I heard about this about a year before I quit working at the Disney Store. The JCP at our local mall has one, but, I've never been to it.
I have no clue whether or not those Disney sections are helping the JCP Stores or not, or how many of the ones being closed have a Disney section, if any. But, at only 800-1,000 sq. ft. of a total JCP, I highly doubt they are making any significant contribution to the bottom line.

I kind of wish we had that policy in the middle school too. Usually it is the parents of kids that are doing just fine that show up to the conferences, so in the end the conference is pretty short and anti-climatic. Although one time I had a parent show up at the conference and they didn't want to talk about their kid at all (he was getting A's), she just wanted to pick my brain about Disney! :)

I'm sure it will be strange having your youngest in high school. My niece is going into 7th grade next year and I still think she should just be in 1st grade! Time goes too fast sometimes.

Hahaaa...!
A parent teacher Disney conference...!!! :hilarious:

And yes, time flies.
I still can't believe our youngest of the 3 is 22...!!!  ;)

It sounds like perfect February weather to me. It is 17 degrees right now, I think we will get up to 30 today. At least it is sunny here, it hopefully will melt some of the snow we got yesterday. I think I might brave the chill and take the dog for a walk today. She pouted a bit yesterday when she didn't get a walk. The only good part of the snow (besides having a snow day/day off work) was watching her play in the snow.

Here is a picture my husband took of her as she came in at one point yesterday.

I can empathize. I deep cleaned the bathroom last weekend. Deep cleaning like that is something I do only a few times a year. The tiles in the bathtub area were glistening!! :inlove:

So . . . what does hubs decide to do last night? :cautious: He decides to give the dog a bath! :banghead: He hadn't given Jack a bath for weeks, and he decides last night to do this?!

Now, Jack doesn't like getting a bath to begin with, and when he does get one, it's WAR up there in the bathroom, between him and hubs -- and they both create a huge mess, not to mention, make a ton of noise. Water is all over the wet floors, black dog hair in tub, tile walls, and on the towels (yes, hubs uses OUR clean, fluffy towels to dry the DOG . . . Heaven forbid, he uses the older towels that I keep only as a backup, in the linen closet.)

But I'm sure Jack smelled so good! I love when hubby gives Kapono a bath, she smells so good and her fur is all fluffy. :inlove:

Good morning Mother Nature has some serious issues. Yesterday it got near 70 and this morning I woke up, it was in the 20s with a light fresh coating of carp:eek::cold::cry::bawling::banghead: Tonight's dinner groundhog wellington with asparagus (with hollanaise sp?) and what ever bottle of good red wine I can get while out running errands. I need to go to Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sympathy like.
Hope ya' found some suitable red wine...! ;)

Once again you're blaming poor Jack for something out of his control:rolleyes::cautious::grumpy:
