Believe me, Figgy, I know you work your tail off and put all your efforts for your family first (granted, that's not always the way it is with both spouses in some family dynamics). No doubt. It sure doesn't hurt that you have chosen a more healthy lifestyle in recent years and have the energy of 10 Energizer Bunnies...!!! :hilarious: ;)
But, you are taking care of yourself so you can take care of them...!
Along with oldest DD (who has also returned to full vegan), you have inspired me to try to eat healthier, and I've lost a few more pounds. :)
Although some of the food pics I post don't really look like it, I usually only post the more decadent ones, and not the healthier stuff I'm eating lately, mostly during the week...I should do that...! :)

ETA...
Plus, I really do enjoy all your posts about how busy you are with eveything you do. From cooking to sewing to motivating your 2 eating machines...errr  ;)...sons, etc., so please don't stop. There is some great humor there, too...! :)
Congrats on the weight loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thnx Today's fun story James announced at 4 there was a dance tonight and he's getting picked up at 6. Nothing like trying to get dinner on the table an hour early. Ha I didn't even try!:D He got left overs and the rest of us had stuffed cabbage (lower carb more veggies less rice):hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry:

Thanks, Figgy! :)

It's just a few pounds, so far, but, it's a start...!
There he goes, growin' up some more...the little Casanova...! :D  ;)

Oh my, I love stuffed cabbage, but we haven't had it in quite some time. :hungry:
I actually had an Amy's Garden Vegetable Lasagna for lunch this week at the office that was pretty amazing...!!! :hungry:

For some reason I get the feeling that what I posted and responded too, were somehow mis-interpreted. Maybe not, but just to be sure, this is the picture that Gabe posted. My response was concerning the picture and stated it as...
I pictured you as much older then that!
Referring to the age of the child in the picture and saying what was said above.

To which Gabe replied...
I beg your pardon.

A gentleman never goes down that AGE topic with a lady.
Prompting me to reply in a self deprecating manner....
Assuming that I was a "gentleman" was your first mistake.
To which Donald replied as if I had done something insulting or wrong. If that is not the case I apologize for misunderstanding the responses.
Just want to make sure that we all understand the intent here. Thanks.

I sure hope we all understand!
I knew you were just bein' silly, and responded with my own silliness...! You should have seen some of the non-cartoon pictures of what I posted...!!! :D
My post was in total jest...! :)
We're all good on this end...! :)

Also, if I'm providing winking, grinning, etc. smilies, there is no chance I'm being malicious.
Plus, I'm not a malicious, sarcastic, smartalecky, person by nature, anyway...! :)

I didn't think you were really, but, it was just the vibe I got, from it... all's fine with me, I just wanted to be sure that I didn't accidentally offend anyone. Honestly, when I really want to attack, I'm pretty good at that and there is no real mistaking it usually. :)

My hubs saw that it was on tv today and said we should watch it. Luckily it was in the middle of the movie so I had a good excuse not to watch it today. I figure I will have to watch it before June, but I'm in no rush.
I don't see any reason why it is necessary to watch it. Go and see if you can enjoy Pandora without previous history. Most of Disney's best attractions were things with no previous reference. I tried watching Avatar once and made it about 10 minutes before I had to shut it off, still I am looking forward to seeing this land. It seems really promising even without the back story.

I want to watch it before I see Pandora so I can understand what the whole thing is about. I agree that I would probably be okay with just experiencing it. But I think I would probably get more out of the land by watching the movie.

The biggest problem with going to see it first is the expectation that it is going to somehow follow the story-line of the movie. The same criticism that Frozen got and Under the Sea. The latter did follow the story-line as far as the physical space allowed it to, but, Frozen didn't follow anything other then a vague sequence of events and some songs. There were complaints a plenty about that, and it really shouldn't have mattered. Preconceived ideas about what something is going to be like can often ruin the experience when it doesn't work out that way. Either way, it doesn't matter and is more of a personal preference then a necessity. I like to keep it simple and the less I know about an idea the more I can accept what is presented. Just me, but, that's how I feel about stuff like that. Even though I didn't get to ride the Potter rides last week, other then the train, I loved the areas without having any idea, other then vague references, of what the stories were about. Maybe if I had more background, it would have been even better, but, I was fine with it the way I first witnessed it.
