It was Presidents Day here, too. We just don't have certain holidays off.
If I remember correctly, ours are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independance Day, Labor Day, 2 days for Thanksgiving, and 2 days for Christmas (if Christmas falls on a Sat. we get the Thurs. and Fri. before off, if it falls in a Sun. we get the following Mon. and Tues. off).

Hello everyone! Crazy weekend! Very nice temps so we got outside some. We had tickets-our Valentine's present-to see ZZ Top on Sunday night. Awesome concert!!
They were very popular in Houston and South Texas back in the mid '60's, and also did some touring, as well as opening for acts such as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors...! ...summer is shaping up to be a scorcher...!!!

I have an uncle (my mothers younger brother) that was a roadie for a band called The Moving Sidewalks that Billy Gibbons was a member of just before forming ZZ Top. I've heard a few fun stories over the years.
