Wow. This was a great trip--I think you managed to see the major attractions, as well as take in the theming, street performers, etc. Sounds to me like you really enjoyed your time, despite a small mishap with your knee. And you don't need to see everything there--I'd take quality over quantity any day!

Seems to me that Uni has as much going on as WDW now. They're really raised the bar down there, and that's pushed WDW to get off their butt and start adding some new things, too. (Of course, WDW isn't exactly noted for speed when adding new attractions; but I've thought that without UNI cranking up the competition over the past few years, goodness knows when WDW would ever add anything new?! )
I agree. I don't think that Disney is scared right now, because the still have a lot more to offer overall then Uni, but, Uni was making them look pretty bad in the eyes of many. I enjoy both WDW and Uni just about equally. Both have their own offerings and they are both high quality. I think that there is a limit to how much Uni can add due to space limitations. Their new water park, which can be seen along side of I-4, looks like it is going to be really nice, but, what it cost for Uni to buy land in that highly populated area will always be restrictive to their overall expansion, in my opinion.

Here's a question... I thought that I had read that Uni had purchased Wet and Wild and that was where they were going to build their water park. This one is nowhere near Wet and Wild as far as I can tell. On the opposite side of I-4, I believe. Can anyone tell me what, if anything changed in that scenario from a couple of years ago? Or am I thinking of something else?

I never did fall back asleep. By the time I stopped shivering it didn't make sense to crawl back in bed so I made 5 dozen waffles instead:hilarious: I'm going to try and take one of those nap things later LOL

Well, this is 20 waffles, so exactly 1/3 of 5 dozen. 20 waffles each for breakfast for 3 guys sounds about right to me...! :hungry:

They actually already bought land patches to expand.

Also WDW seems to be very adamant in expanding park wise. They only expand resort wise (aka more DVC and more Hotels)
