That's interesting about the garlic. I suppose if it's administered under a vet's care, I'd allow it. On my own, I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm lucky in that Jack has an iron constitution. Sometimes, I think he's more of a goat than a dog, though--he'll eat anything!

We also dodged a bullet with my previous dog. I recall one Christmas when we had a bowl of Hershey's kisses out for company. We were all talking and not paying attention, and the dog absconded with about 1/2 pound of them--we found all the little spit out pieces of the silver foil on the floor. :cautious: We were fortunate that she did not have any reaction. (Vets always see more dogs admitted to the vet ER from eating chocolate during the holidays--and also Valentine's Day.) Dogs and cats are like people, in the sense that certain foods affect each one differently, but the vets go with the statistically higher incidents of toxic foods--to warn pet owners about.

It's all fair game to them--no matter what it is, if it's there, it's theirs!! :p :cat:

Alrighty then, picking up where we left off, I had finished lunch and headed for the Monorail to get to MK. Along the way I checked my FP times to be sure what time my Mine Train was scheduled and, like reverse magic, it was gone. No explanation nothing, just the notice that I could chose a FP now that I had used up my original three.

So my first chore was to visit customer service as I entered MK. I was helped by a very nice lady as I explained my dilemma. I said that maybe I did something wrong and didn't confirm it or something, but, that I thought that I did confirm. She said that sometimes weird things happen that they couldn't explain. To make sure that I had at least one FP, I had chosen one for the Haunted Mansion on my way over to MK. She asked about that and I told her the truth, I saw that the Mine Train was missing and I didn't want to compound my problem by not having any so I grabbed the HM one while it was available. I don't use the Magic Band and probably never would, even if I stayed onsite, because I find the card to be handier so I gave it to her, she typed in the information from it and gave it back to me with my HM Fastpass intact and a "whenever you get there" FP for the Mine Train. All completed calmly and hassle free. I have yet to find a flaw with the new system (other then the lost FP to begin with). Anyway, this is how it went (with commentary). After my few moments at Customer Service I headed to:

Pirates ...I told this story somewhere else and mistakenly said it was in Universal, but, once I started typing this I remembered that it was on Pirates that I had the misfortune of standing in the queue behind a very amorous couple where I was very tempted to let them use my credit card and get a damn room. I remember it now because the CM there seemed to go out of her way to place them in the front row of the boat, which hopefully served to cool them off. I couldn't tell because they put me in the last row, thankfully.
The Enchanted Tiki Room: Charming as usual, had the good fortune of sitting next to a kid about 4 years old that almost fell off the bench trying to see all the moving parts. He seem quite fascinated by it all, especially when the flowers started to sing, in the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room!
The Haunted Mansion (FP): Nothing unusual happening on this one except for the people that insisted on taking flash pictures of air particles along the way.
Philharmagic: Nothing to say, good as usual.
Under The Sea: I enjoy this ride even though I agree that they could have done a little better. Has anyone looked down at the path in the queue and seen all the shells and bone fragments embedded in the pavement? First time I noticed it.
7DMT (magical FP): This is the first time I rode this during the day. It was much more fun in the daylight where you could see the detail around you. Still love the mine part itself... Hi Ho, Hi Ho.. it's home from work we go.

Stopped for Dinner consisting of Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans while serenaded by Sunny Eclipse. First time for that as well. Seem like I caught up on a couple of things that I missed in the past.

Carousal Of Progress: As the man said, "I was in for a treat" and left looking forward to a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. The audience was well behaved, and appreciative. Sang along and even applauded at the end. Cool!
People Mover: (Twice around) Yea, I know not much to it, but I still love to ride it. I think that they opened up the view windows on Space Mountain because I could see the outline of the structure at times. Now if they would just put those reflective stripes on the cars again with a little black light affect it would be just like the old days.

Speaking of old... It was about that time that my get up and go, got up and went. So I made my way back to TTC via the Ferry, sang a few songs with the CM while Mary Poppins was singing about spoons full of sugar and the like. Went on to the Monorail for Epcot where I sat next to a little girl and asked her if she had got to see her favorite princess. It was like opening a flood gate. I was never able to actually understand the name of the Princess that caught her fancy, but, she went on and on about how beautiful she was and how she was going to be a princess when she grew up. Cute!

Tomorrow a few notes about Universal, some good, some bad. "Hasta la vista, baby"

Seems like you had quite a fun day but how were you never able to catch Sunny's act before? I remember my younger kid getting up and dancing a few times when he was younger:joyfull:
