The Puppy Bowl is awesome! I think I'm in love with Slippers, Parfait, and Buttons. I just love it when puppies run! @MinnieM123 did you watch at all?

I've only stayed in a value once. I was not a happy camper. I'd stay offsite first likely too especially if you have to endure resort fees and the going room rate and need the internet to utilize their MDE. I so wonder how all of this Disney stuff will play out. Guests don't seem to be scratching to receive Cabana's or pay to play extra hours with limited attractions, more expensive MK. Now resort and parking tack ons to already high end resort prices that are not 5 stars. Jeepers. Wonder when guests and Disney will say uncle and Top Out.

Curious--which one was it, and what didn't you like about it?

It's official we have another winter weather warning for ice.:(:rolleyes::arghh::bawling::coldfeet::cry::banghead::brb::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: I've never in my life seen such an icy winter:mad::arghh::bawling: I'm starting to feel like a shut in:arghh::banghead::mad: In addition to whatever else is on my list for today I'm going to do some extra cooking in case the guys wind up staying home tomorrow &/or the power goes out. I'm up in the hills so we can handle a foot of snow before everything shuts down(schools are more cautious) but ice is another story. Time to think about shorts, tank tops, flip flops and palm trees:joyfull: ok I looked out the window:grumpy::depressed::brb: reality just set back in:brb:

I thought I would share some pictures of the weekend. My 12 year old niece came down to visit so Friday night we took her to a new British pub that just opened in our area for dinner for dinner. Here are our appetizers, it was really good.

Then Saturday we took her to the Mall of America. We went to the aquarium there and it was pretty fantastic and tried the flying over America ride in the indoor theme park in the center of the mall. The flying ride was like Soarin and I expected it not to be as good as Soarin but it was on par with it. Actually the seats were a little more comfortable even though they looked like Disney's. This one had some scents, wind, and some light mist.

Some Aquarium pictures, remember fish are friends not food!

And of course there was a stop at the Disney store, and I thought of all of you when I saw that new Minnie Mouse apparel so I snapped this one for all of you.

It was a fun weekend, but now I need to recover. My niece has a lot of energy!
Nice aquarium pics. :)

Curious--which one was it, and what didn't you like about it?

Pop.

While I understand better than most values the transportation was almost mobbish. The rooms were OK but worn and tiny. The double beds (I have a king) are rough and the mattress and pillows along with towels to toilet paper were about as low quality as you could find. The buildings remind me of a Motel 6 template. Looking at AoA just visually I think about the suites the same way though my kids as babies would have likely enjoyed looking at "all the stuff." I just lack the appreciation for that type of theming and decorating. I love the subtle POR, FQ and the Coronado though I was not amused with the Bayou's furnishings last visit-very hodge podge and they just need to pitch the furniture and start over. There were 4 types of furniture in that room and nothing went or blended together. But it was clean, the queen beds were comfy and housekeeping was always there early in the morning. (I tip well daily) I would stay at a Value if I had to again but will do my best to avoid.

We've stayed in values on .5 of our trips.
ASMusic in a family suite 3 times, Pop once, and a family suite in AoA once. Loved them all every time. We tend not to spend much time at the resort anyway, other than to crash and clean up, so, for now anyway, they're perfect for us. :)
We'll wait and see what the resort fee rumor brings...
Same here. We've stayed in every decade at Pop twice and the All-Stars numerous times and loved it. I did stay at another popular moderate on property and hated the place. The values are perfect for us.
