I may have found something good about it being too cold to go outside not to mention a few darling "angels" needing supervision. I was productive today. I made enough waffles to feed the boys and freeze enough for about 8 more meals. I got a simple princess seamed dress assembled and altered, now I just have to add facings and hem, I got my steps in and I have a pot of chili on the stove simmering and cornbread in the oven. That doesn't mean I have to be happy about it, I'd rather be by a pool with a good book or even just some good music. More cold and snow tomorrow:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Is it wine time yet?o_O
Mmmm chili and cornbread. I had cheese and crackers. That counts as dinner, right?

Depends. Do most people actually buy forst thing. Might be a loss as people will browse for an hour but not spend until later.
With nothing to do but shop and eat I'm sure there will be lots of shopping going on. Picture heavy on site advertising "extra magic shopping time with package delivery to your room or p/u at the front of the park at your convenience" Last summer we were let into the parks before official opening and I saw people buying while waiting for rope drop. :greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy:

I haven't seen it and never rush to go see any of the Disney movies--I catch up with most of them on DVD long after their release. Did hear good reviews of this one, but from your comment . . . doesn't sound like anything special. Guess I'll wait for the DVD to come out, and then get it on sale at some point.

Even better - wait for cable.

Just finally saw Inside Out - meh.
and The Good Dinosaur - loved.

I'm going to miss the MK welcome show with everybody coming in on the train. Now with the shops on MSUSA being open before the park no more reason for us to do PPO breakfast:(

I'm not so sure Disney would be willing to give up an hour of cash registers ringing every morning:cautious::rolleyes::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy:

Th welcome show is the best start to a Magic Kingdom day I tear up every time it makes me so happy. I will miss it tremendously. And unfortunately I agree with your second statement, if Disney is making dough it may not go back.

He didn't have a good night, he is feeling ickyier than yesterday. So today is supposed to be the family outing with the in-laws into the city and he isn't going to go. So I'm stuck alone with the in-laws. :cautious:

Ouch . . . well, I hope you're back now with him at the hotel--I know I'd play the "husband is ill, and I don't want to leave him for too long" card at the family outing . . . :D

Had to pop up to N&R to see what you and Figgy were writing about. Ugh. I just read the thread about this--sad. To me, that show "is" the Magic Kingdom -- hate to see that delightful welcome show get scrapped. Little by little, the older, charming shows of the Magic Kingdom are being taken away. So I guess they'll have a new show up at the castle. That's not the same. There's just something about the old trains and the CMs dressed up in period costumes--this is a big loss for many of us.
