They'll send me the diploma in the mail next month once they verify I didn't fail any of my classes (I didn't). I have a third interview with a company tomorrow which I'm hoping will include an offer. And I am off to SC on Thursday to be with my family, and then I come back for four days, and I head to Disneyland. Then I head to San Diego for a few days, then I fly straight from San Diego to Orlando to meet my parents, and we're going to WDW. Then I can come home and start working.
Good luck! I hope you get it! Prayers and pixie dust.

Hmpf.

Nope. I refuse. I go out my fingers hurt, my toes are frozen. My nose is angry with me. Contacts, well they don't want to stay in my eyes. Stupid stupid cold. :coldfeet:
OMG you are so right! Stupid, stupid cold!!!!!!!!!!! It's 6 degrees outside:mad::arghh::bawling::cold::coldfeet::cry::cry::cry::cry: I'm turning into a shut in. At least I have baking and sewing to keep me busy until it's warm enough to go outside. I'm not leaving my house today:( I'm glad I have to bake a bazillion cookies but I'd rather be out walking or on my deck with a good book. Have I mention how much I hate the cold? BTW I know it's cold when my dh preheats his car before going to work. He like strange weather but this is too much even for him!

I call it Disney coast to coast

For some odd reason, that reminds me of a similar theme, "Casey Kasem's Coast to Coast" -- not sure if you ever heard of him. He was a deejay many years ago on the radio and he played the top 40 pop songs of the week. His show was syndicated nationwide and was very popular.

Oh by the way, I love your new avatar! I laughed when I saw that! :joyfull:

Not intending to contradict, but, it seems like I remember many Christmas seasons with very cold weather, sub zero stuff. I remember going to visit friends and having it absolutely freezing outside. Very cold! Then other times when it was warm.

Odd weather doesn't really strike me as different then what normally cycles over the years. In fact, I remember in the 60's when we would have continuous sub-zero weather for weeks on end. I don't recall many of those in recent years. Maybe my age helps because I was having to deal with grown up things during those time periods, but, they did exist and did in what seems to me to have been cyclical episodes. Even southern weather is changing in the opposite direction. I remember traveling down here in the 80's and if they had a snow storm, which was not often, they had no equipment at all to deal with it. The solution was wait until it thawed. (probably the next day). Now winter seems to invade much more often and cities and states have had to invest in snow removal equipment. Even the summers are cooler. It has been 4 years since the temperature has reached over 100 degrees in NC. When I first moved here in 2011 it was there for the entire month of July. So to me it is something that I notice as climate change, not exactly the same as global warming because that isn't the case everywhere, but, just a general change in local climates gradually happening all over the world. Overall, not necessarily constantly, the north is warming up and the south is cooling down. One doesn't even need a scientific study to actually notice it. It's cold right now up north, but, really doesn't have the sustained cold, massive snow, etc. as once was common. The south doesn't stay balmy year round either. Who knows, if I live long enough I might have to move back up north. I haven't started packing yet, but, I am storing sturdy boxes just in case. :)

The Strudel looked awesome, no doubts that it went over so well. :hungry: As much as I envy your offices food parades If I worked there my girth would likely be 2x what it should be and people would be singing...Baby Got Back as I passed by. :joyfull: They'd need to add an additional room for post-lunch time aerobics class for me to survive the lovely food in your office. :hungry:

We broke a pipe yesterday. My understanding is Public Works will come dig up my parkway tomorrow.
Joy Joy :in pain: A pile of clay will sit out there until summer at least.

Or move farther south? In 1982 we had Christmas in the low 70s, in both 1983 and 84 we had artic cold down to the -30's with windchills colder than the North Pole. Some years we do not have snow until January, sometimes by mid-October. We had a blizzard before Thanksgiving on my DD Birthday one year and I had the fear of God that those relatives were Going to camp in my house overnight.

Me, I think it is all Weather, never know what you are going to get vs Climate Change because it is neither consistent warmer or colder. We had 2014-2015 with pretty chilly summers where I didn't need much A/C. Then this last summer was kinda toasty by midwest standards. I'm Goldilocks, Not too Hot, Not too Cold, want it just right. :)

Good morning @StarWarsGirl but what are you doing up? I thought you didn't have to adult today:confused:
I had a job interview this morning. Was going to go on the interview and then go to Philly with my friend, but she had to work. :( So my mom and I just rode up and then went back home after the interview. It went well. They pretty much indicated that they need to check my references and I have to take a personality test, but other than that, if all goes well, I should get the job. Hopefully.

No adulting tomorrow other than finishing packing. Going to take a nap in a few.

Ha! The Dr Phil test, as useful as a fortune cookie. :cyclops:

Ok, I don't mean to be the Negative nancy here, but waking up to teen temperatures 5 days in a row is really starting to aggravate me. It's not like I live up north, or in the midwest. I live in Kentucky... It usually doesn't get this cold until late January/early February. I wonder what it would cost to buy some swamp land in Florida and pick my house up and move. :brb: :hilarious: :hilarious:
