Hawaii got 2 feet. We had our first snowfall the other day, only a dusting but enough to makes the roads a mess, like people forget how to drive in the snow.
But it's cheaper in bulkI know you cook a lot but having the salt delivered by truck might be a bit excessive
Good morning, at least I have power. We didn't get much snow but it's a skating rink outside. The only thing I hate more than snow is ice and you know it's bad when you hear the salt truck skid That's was the not so wonderful sound that woke me up

So Amazon is introducing a grocery store with no cashiers! I'm curious to see how this will work but technology is slowly killing jobs.
Thanks, Gabe!
Yes, it's been a few weeks. Long story short...work, life, scheduling issues.
The symptoms are on again, off again and continuing. No pain, no fever, etc., and it isn't growing. It's just the annoying bleeding...
I want that!
Ugh yuck. We just gave rain, a very cold rain.Good morning, at least I have power. We didn't get much snow but it's a skating rink outside. The only thing I hate more than snow is ice and you know it's bad when you hear the salt truck skid That's was the not so wonderful sound that woke me up
I've heard that pizza isn't really from Italy, but I don't know if it's true or not. That's a shame because pizza from just about anyplace on the planet is better then NYC Pizza. You should try it? However, I did just go to Italy last year and my sister claimed that Domino's was better... so who's to say.
I'm making spaghetti tonight because it's her favorite. She had a nightmare last night about having to go to a new school and was in tears this morning. She's having a really rough couple of weeks.I'm sure it did.
I'm sorry to hear that. Has she decided on a school yet?I'm making spaghetti tonight because it's her favorite. She had a nightmare last night about having to go to a new school and was in tears this morning. She's having a really rough couple of weeks.
The official history states it started in Naples, Italy. "Pizza" is Italian for pie.I've heard that pizza isn't really from Italy, but I don't know if it's true or not.
No, American pizza is a deviation from Italian Pizza, but how we view it as Pizza. Actually, I believe there is a belief that Pizza actually originated in China. Quite possible. However, to me actual Italian Pizza is comparable to what we call Artisan Pizza here.I've heard that pizza isn't really from Italy, but I don't know if it's true or not.
Not really, for every job it has taken out, a different one has cropped up. It's more of a matter of the difficulty that humans have with change then the fact that it is pushing people to the streets. No cashiers? Maybe! But how many overseers of the equipment, packaging people, deliver people will it generate? I'll bet more then lost jobs. The down side is it does indeed highlight the continued expansion of the sheer laziness of people, which in the long haul cannot be good, but, I don't think opportunities for people willing to learn something new will diminish, in fact just the opposite. So Amazon is introducing a grocery store with no cashiers! I'm curious to see how this will work but technology is slowly killing jobs.
I guess, but I do know it didn't start here. Interesting though because, just by chance the only place that I had Pizza in Italy was in Pompeii which is just a couple of miles from Naples. Who knew? The official history states it started in Naples, Italy. "Pizza" is Italian for pie.
