So Amazon is introducing a grocery store with no cashiers! I'm curious to see how this will work but technology is slowly killing jobs.

Not sure if I agree with the "slowly" part -- trend seems to be picking up speed in many venues. Of course, then you get the people who say that it creates other types of jobs, when the original jobs are gone. There's some truth to that, but not everyone can flip their careers on a dime either.

Thanks, Gabe! :)
Yes, it's been a few weeks. Long story short...work, life, scheduling issues.
The symptoms are on again, off again and continuing. No pain, no fever, etc., and it isn't growing. It's just the annoying bleeding... :cyclops:

Hang in there--more often than not, it takes time to diagnose symptoms. It's a major frustration for patients, and I assume most of us have been "there" at some point or other in our lives. Yet, better that the clinicians be thorough in the ruling out/ruling in process of elimination. I'm sending huggies to you, too.

I've heard that pizza isn't really from Italy, but I don't know if it's true or not.
No, American pizza is a deviation from Italian Pizza, but how we view it as Pizza. Actually, I believe there is a belief that Pizza actually originated in China. Quite possible. However, to me actual Italian Pizza is comparable to what we call Artisan Pizza here.

Not really, for every job it has taken out, a different one has cropped up. It's more of a matter of the difficulty that humans have with change then the fact that it is pushing people to the streets. No cashiers? Maybe! But how many overseers of the equipment, packaging people, deliver people will it generate? I'll bet more then lost jobs. The down side is it does indeed highlight the continued expansion of the sheer laziness of people, which in the long haul cannot be good, but, I don't think opportunities for people willing to learn something new will diminish, in fact just the opposite.
