Funny, I remember nothin' but the dyed, hard boiled, Easter Eggs that we made the night before at the dinner table, and that mom and dad hid in the back yard the next morning.
We woke up to our baskets full of candy and stuff, emptied them out and then we hunted the eggs. We then peeled and ate a couple for breakfast. We usually had to wait 'til later in the day for some of the candy.
Even just this past Easter, my 12-year younger sis came into town with her family to stay at my folks house and we continued the tradition with the two youngest grandchildren...!!!!!
