I found a calendar for 2017, it's a coloring calendar. Can you say I'm going into my second childhood?:D:eek::rolleyes::arghh:

Those coloring books/calendars are very popular. Last year this time you couldn't even find colored pencils to purchase, they were all out of stock-everywhere. My DD finds it very relaxing. When we were in Disney World we saw a couple that actually looked like a lot of fun but we forgot to buy. Next time.

Good morning. After the cable fiasco yesterday I contacted customer service about the attitude of the person I spoke with. Long story short all calls are really recorded for quality assurance. About an hour after voicing my concern a supervisor called me back and offered me a deal not on their site for phone and internet which will be $1 more a month than just the internet going up minimally for the next 2 years after that. Price is in writing and no contract is required. My house phone # will port over so we're going to try it. My dh is dropping the box after work so the transition will be done by this evening FINALLY:joyfull: I was going to take care of it but it's a half day and my house is getting invaded at noon:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

then they try their best to become unavailable, try to convince you of other packages, try to block you any attemp you do to cut cord..
I've seen this behavior a lot with direcTV.
we had to report the card as stolen so they were unable to charge us again despite having finished the cancellation process 5 times.

Yikes. And "any" programming change you make with Direct TV will lock you into another 2-year contract. (That's in the tiny print . . .). Need to be very careful with Direct TV. That's what we have, and I'll only call them if I want to dump them completely. Not ready to do that just yet.

Maybe I should consult a geriatric doctor. I'm not sure our new Dr. has studied geriatric disorders.

Heard about this new, simple "smell test" developed by a neurologist at Mass General Hospital. I attached the link below from the Boston Herald (newspaper) about it. Interesting article -- this test is one of many types of diagnostic tools used by physicians, and it's also a 10-15 year predictor of whether a patient may develop the disease down the road. Fascinating research, and again, it's just one of a number of tests used.

Walking down memory lane here -- my father used to laugh himself silly over this record album. He'd play it even years after it first came out--it was his favorite. I think it was a "live" recorded album from a Texas club.

Am I the only person who thinks Black Friday in Disney Springs is wrong?

OMG--RAISES HAND!!! I know that there will be some people who will love this--good for them. It's not for me, that's for sure.

For me, maybe because I'm a dinosaur, I NEVER thought about WDW (Disney Springs--The Landing--Disney Markeplace,--Downtown Disney--I think I covered it all ;) ) as a shopping mecca. Heck, you spend all this money to fly (or drive) to WDW, pay a fortune on park tickets, hotel, food, etc., AS IT IS. But more than that, it just bothers the carp out of me that they're pushing this (no surprise--anything to make more bucks), versus putting more effort into the parks for the holiday season (and beyond, but that's a separate subject).

Even though we made I think 5 or 6 stops there during our trip we didn't buy very much there compared to past trips when we made 2 or 3 stops. Don't get me wrong WOD, Pin Traders and the Christmas shop are must stop at stores being they are Disney but as for the rest of the shopping options we didn't see the point of them. The Coke store was cool to look around but we didn't buy anything. The things we did like were the expanded dining and beverage options. :hungry::angelic:
