Not a slasher person either. I love a good spooky trippy movie. I will not ever never ever watch Poltergeist......ever.....never ever! I think I told this story before but when my daughter, who was just past two and not speaking well was sleeping with me once......and in the middle of the night the tv popped on by itself to a channel of pure static. :jawdrop: My daughter sat straight up and said crystal clear "They're heeeeeeeere!":bawling::bawling::eek: (Just like that movie.)

Then she laid right back down asleep and I grabbed the remote, turned the tv off shaking and crying, and kept staring at the tv and my daughter the rest of the night. She's never seen that movie and was still babbling most of the time so I was freaked. I slept with the lights on for a week. :arghh:
Then I DO NOT RECOMMEND you watch "The Conjuring". I was like this for 2 weeks..

specially those sounds when I was home alone for a full extended weekend.

I had a similar experience when, I had this dream about being lifted out of bed, went through the window, with aliens on each side of me and into a space ship. Later that same night, the T.V. came on with static, and woke me up and I remembered my dream. Scared me to death, hubby was out of town on a business trip. DD was staying at a friends house for the night. I slept with my bedroom light on too. Shut it off, when hubby came home from his trip. Then, after I slept with the light on, whenever hubby was away at night. That was truly a frightening experience.
Movies to Watch:
  1. Alien Abduction (2014)
  2. Extraterrestrial (2014)
  3. The Signal (2014)
  4. Dark Skies (2013) <-- terrifying for those with wild imagination.
  5. Intruders (1992) <-- kinda classy, scary at first.. E.T. like later on.
  6. Fire in the Sky (1993)
  7. Signs (2002) <-- good builtup, and ruined later in the ending parts.
  8. Super 8
  9. Paul (2011) <-- to remove the fear quickly.

*edit*
Forgot to say I had also a similar dream, not as detailed to you.
But simply that I was "awake" in my bed.. sideways hugging a pillow. Then I suddenly couldn't move... Then I seen those creepy grey like hands holding me down my legs, then I literally felt something rubbing my neck and a poke (like needle pain).
Woke up freaked out.. with pain on the neck... Turns out, there was a small tiny spider that was squished by my pillow, and thus decided to retaliate D:

Do you have Hulu and if so do you like it? thnx

My DD has Hulu. So cheap. That is how she gets to watch her current shows. She has Netflix and Amazon Prime is the bonus as she orders almost everything online and had Amazon Prime for that purpose already. She did her research though Roku did not come up as the winner though. She landed on the Apple Box instead.

The roku is for the boys so they can watch things once we cut the cord so to speak. My dh said it would do what they need on their not so smart tv. But thnx for the tip I'll check that out before my dh goes to the store

So I have a tentative ADR list for DL. I was only going to do a few ADRs, but my friend made it pretty clear she wants to eat more than just quick service food, and since the hotel in Anaheim is costing me nothing (I'm paying for our San Diego hotel), that leaves more money in the budget for ADRs.

Day 1: Arrival, DTD, Naples for dinner
Day 2: Blue Bayou dinner
Day 3: Carnation Cafe Breakfast
Day 4: River Belle Terrace Dinner
Day 5: Storyteller's Cafe Dinner
Day 6: Cafe Orleans lunch

Subject to change. I'll check the weather before we go, which may result in Carnation Cafe and/or Cafe Orleans getting switched since they are great outdoor dining choices. The only one I didn't go to out of these last trip was Storyteller's.

I took my daughter to the orthopedic surgeon yesterday. It's a clean break and the growth plate wasn't affected. She is restricted to no weight-bearing and using a wheelchair until the 17th. Thank goodness her school is totally wheelchair accessible. There are some other special needs students she has helped so at least she's familiar with the elevator use, etc. She took a pic of her "purple cast and brown tootsies". The color in the pic is off though because the cast is a dark purple.

Glad it was a clean break and won't need any surgery or anything. Cool cast color.

I just remembered that I can make DL ADRs in two days. :D

Where are you going to eat? My favorites all start with C....Carthay (love those biscuits), Cafe Orlean (pomme frittes & monte cristos) and Carnation Cafe (lots of good stuff).

I also really like Steakhouse 55, I found out recently that you can order off the regular menu in their lounge. And that includes the 22 (or 24) chocolate layer cake.

I also love Trader Sam's, but no reservations for that.

Edit: I see you posted a list of what you were thinking. Good solid choices. Although I haven't eaten at River Belle since they switched to a sit down meal. I have heard some good and bad reviews, so I'll be interested to see what you think. I also really like Naples, the pizza is good!

A kid at school was talking about the "s" word the other day. I told him to stop using the foul language and he looked confused for a moment and then laughed when I said that "s" word is a bad word in my book.:D

Ha! I thought the kid said a swear word, and then realized you meant snow! I love snow, as you know (that rhymes--extra points). It's white, pure, and pretty.

So I went with my Mom to Moretti's for lunch today. Everything around here is Cubs right now (the heck with the Bears playing Green Bay right now. a different saga) The Billy Goat restaurant rich with history from printed media to The Goat is famous for their unique Cheese Burgers. So I pick up my menu and look at the specials today on Moretti's menu:

I Ain't Afraid of Any Goat-Cheese Burger. :joyfull: :inlove:

Spent a lot of my young days here. Not far from home, could walk it. Best Thin Crust Pizza.
Started out looking like this and has taken over the building next door which has 3 levels. My Dad
loved this place too, but not for the same reasons I did as a young adult. This is where we had his
wake meal after his funeral.
