TV alert Milo Murphy's Law premiers on DCXD tonight at 8 eastern. It's from the creators of P&F, looks interesting

I know we will be watching. I really enjoyed (read:laughed out loud) the promo video that the creators did. In fact, I just rewatched it and laughed out loud again.

Thanks, @Gabe1 Not sure how frequent I will be, but I will do my best to stop in on occasion!

School adventures got real interesting at the end of last year. The school I am at decided to cut the second instrumental music position, which was mine...but at the last minute the other music teacher decided to leave, so I ended up staying. It was a pretty big mess that stretched into the summer. So now, I am doing the work of two teachers! But, I am doing my best and trying to keep positive all the time (that's just how I roll). This summer we drove cross country and visited Disneyland (along with 25 other states, 12 national parks, and my wife's family). Finally booked to head back to the World this coming 4th of July (which will be our third 4th of July visit in the last 4 summers). Yes, we are nuts.

Hope all is well with you as well as all my friends here and I'm glad to be able to stop in and say hello!

Blah! I am sorry. You were so excited to take that position and get out of the previous mess. Happy though you are still employed though even if it isn't a great situation.

But Wow! a 25 state road trip! I am in Awe! :jawdrop: Yep, I've done the 4th, those are some excellent fireworks displays but the crowds
Oy vey. But if memory serves me correctly you have a system that seems to work.

We went everywhere! OK, maybe not everywhere, but LA, Anaheim, Kings Canyon, Sequoia National Forest, Yosemite, Napa (skipped San Fran, done that a couple times before - my wife is from just south of SF), Redwoods, Eureka, and then up into Oregon.
Have you ever done San Diego? A friend and I are going to Cali in January and are doing two days in San Diego and we're looking for don't miss stuff within the city.

Still a MUCH better situation than before. The guy who replaced me in the previous school has since given up and quit and they didn't replace him - so, in the space of 6 years they have gone from 4 full and 1 part time music teachers to just 2 full time - and with no reduction in the number of students enrolled in music classes, just reduced offerings and more kids per class. My situation is not ideal, but far better than what is going on there!!

And, yes, we have a pretty good 4th system and plan. We are already starting to put together some plans for next summer and hopefully some awesome memories - no soccer camp this year for our daughter, though - she just wants Disney time!

Haven't done San Diego. Sorry! Just about everything north of there, though...

When you don't hear the entire conversation then try and spit your coffee, make a spectacle out of yourself choking on the coffee making it obvious you overheard and were listening.........

Woman: But coffee is so good for many health conditions

Man: I'm sorry. Can't do it. Can't stand either the smell or taste of the stuff

Woman: Would you rather be CASTRATED?

Man: *In a soft and disappoint tone* Is that my only choice?

To everybody on the eastern seaboard keep an eye on the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mathew could hit anywhere between SC and Boston so keep an ear out. I'm making sure all the charge packs are charged and my freezer has lots of cooked items that can be reheated on the grill or camp stove. DH is making sure the kerosene can is full. Best case it goes out to sea and I'm stocked up
I hope not. I have fall break next week; no hurricanes! Plus I have work, and if there's no work, I don't get paid, so just...no. Also, if the Orioles are in the playoffs...you see the multiple problems here?

never seen wasps entering that deep into a building. They usually stay OUTSIDE for access purposes.
You forget you live in an area that's almost constantly warm. Up here they are looking for somewhere to build a nest inside to hibernate over winter. We had a nest formed behind some shutters on the front of our house and they were finding their way inside through a crack in the window sill.

I watched the new Jungle Book a few days ago, and I have mixed feelings. I guess "man" is the big bad meanie, because of the fire, and the fact that they hunt animals for food. However, I loved Bill Murray as Baloo, and I loved the entire scene with the snake. How do they get the animals to do all the stuff they do in the movie?
