Nothing close really for the grandkids. When they were little she refused to be called grandma, preferring Nana. The kids also had other grandmothers that opted for the same Nana. Since every time she saw them she had candy they all called her 'Candy Nana' (something that my daughters are quick to point out she never did for them when they were little. ;)) However, that is pretty much the only memory of her that they have of quality.

Havent you tried to get one of your pillows with you?
I always try to get one of my pillows with me on my trips lol.
Since I really hate the new trend of hotels of giving tiny box-like pillows (4 of them) instead of long pillows.

I should have resized the photo. Anyhow, these are our four new birds. They are finches, and they are in a cage separate from our two male parakeets. I named them Eenie, Meanie, Miney, and Moe. The white bird with the orange beak is Eenie. The black bird with the orange beak is Meanie. The brown bird is Miney, and the black and white bird is Moe. Meanie is definitely the leader of the pack, although he is also the aggressive one. He leaves Eenie alone, but he picks on Miney and Moe a lot. We have had them since the weekend. They are chirping and flying a lot in their cage. Definitely different personalities than our two parakeets.

People want what she has, so they have to trash her so they can convince themselves that she doesn't deserve it all as much as they do themselves. And for those who have the money and the fame, they are probably jealous of the talent. It's insecurity. They can't do what she does and they know that they could lose it all at any time (that industry is VERY fickle) and they don't have the talent to climb back to the top if that happens. Most of what we see in the News about Kanye is not very positive...he's an egotistical jerk with very little actual talent. He wants the accolades saying what an amazing artist he is, and how great of a role model he is, but he's NOT, so he doesn't get that and Taylor does. He's jealous.

That, and look who he's married to: someone who just wants the attention for the sake of having the attention. What better way to get attention than to use TS to do that.

Vocally she's not fantastic, but her songs are amazing. She completely deserves the fame from that alone. Shake It Off is also always good for a pick-me-up.
