I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like it was maybe a blessing from what you've said in the past. It can't have been fun living the way she was. But it's still so sad, especially for your kids. How are they handling it?
They are doing OK, they have mixed feelings but when all is said and done, she was their Mother and for the first 16 or so years she was always there for them and they do remember that. The later years were much more difficult in the close bonding neighborhood. But, death is an equalizer in these situations, so it really is just sadness and the realization of the end of an era. We all go through that with the loss of a parent, I think.

It's finally Friday night! Time to relax.

The meeting went well at school today, they have decided that the student that has been acting up needs a new placement and will not be in the regular classroom. In the middle of the year they will reevaluate. But for now hopefully everyone will be where they can learn and function best.
That's wonderful news! Glad it will work out better for everyone.

I've read that Taylor Swift does a LOT of stuff like that. She's one of the most philanthropic celebrities in her age group. JKR is like that, too. She's donated so much money to various causes that she's no longer a billionaire. I think it's awesome when they give back like that.
And I still wonder why she gets that much hate (Swift).
Specially from trash like Kanye.
