Good point. I've only had one UTI infection after childbirth. Now that you say that I remember them telling me to drink fluids frequently. Problem is during the birthing process they didn't let you drink fluids. Go figure. That manchild of mine caused all sorts of issues being brought into the world that day, he even broke my tail bone so the UTI was nothing in comparison to that. There are so many reasons my kids were 5 years apart, surprised I had a second. Time heals all wounds I guess.
I'm prone to them. Every time I get one, I get a lecture from whichever doctor is treating me about drinking enough. I've also had two "silent" UTIs that went up into my kidneys. The first time I had one, it took a week and three different doctors to figure it out. The second time I had the kidney infection, my freshman year of college, I knew exactly what it was. It gives you back pain and nausea, and the back pain is like no other back pain you've ever had. I called my doctor, who said to go straight to urgent care. I was treated by this Indian doctor who acted like she didn't believe me as I was telling her, "It's a kidney infection. I've had it before." Then she pressed on my kidney, and I about leaped off the table. She said, "Oh, that not supposed to happen." Why yes, I knew that; and that is what I was trying to tell you. They put me on an antibiotic, and sure enough, they called me a few days later with the test results and said yup.

I'm very careful about drinking enough water for that reason, and I load up on cranberry juice. Still not enough sometimes, though.

If she were a man, no way would anyone scrutinize her health as they have. I don't support either party, but I have a great deal of respect for what she had to go through as a woman to get where she is today.

And that is the last I will say on that subject.

I have followed the lady and her career for many years, we both share the same hometown. My Sis and her followed the same University paths to become attorneys. My Sis attended her husband's Integral ball. In my Dad's hospital room was a framed picture of my niece, Sis and Hillary long before her first attempt at Presidency. I guess following her total career I have a bond with her and a connection that most don't have that type of history, while younger than her we grew up blocks from each other. I find it awesome what a girl from my immediate neighborhood achieved (win or not) in her lifetime. A girl born in that era to have that type of goals and hootspa to me is beyond awesome despite any political siding. She has lived an exciting life and career. I remember when I first ran for public office our Superintendent referring to to me as a Mommy despite my education and being a business owner in our community. Women still have to overcome stereotypes.

Yep. My philosophy too. Water is an awesome deterrent to so many alignments. Bonus, zero calories.

It is so cool when celebrities dedicate the seconds it takes to do something like autograph an item for a foundation. $1600 will do so much for the charity. A no hurt contribution to a great cause.

Apparently she doesn't sign many guitars. I'm not a Taylor Swift fan, but, yes, a very generous gesture!
We were told a similar guitar signed by her went for 10K at another auction.

She only needs to control her lying. She really had a very good resume until she started to exaggerate to make herself like a victim. or trying to act like someone she is not (like trying to act all "hip" to gain popularity of the internet and tech savvy young voters crowd, which is backfiring).

I still remember her, claiming over and over how she was "under sniper fire" and how "terrified she was" when she visited some country.
Yet she was all smiles when she was getting down from her plane.

She doesn't need any of that. She is strong, she is a leader and she is more than capable.

Still, Id say that even Trump is a better presidential material than the clown we have here in Mexico.
Who will probably retire by having billions of funneled money out of the coffers of the country. And noone can do a thing. All because he and his goons set up the entire government to allow himself to do so (from the high supreme court, to the Military and managers).

I don't want to get trashed on vacation or really anytime anymore. I spent the afternoon at a fundraiser for the local Humane Society and it was a food and brews event. Having a few glasses of those brews was enough for me, I still feel a little fuzzy and my last glass was 2 1/2 hours ago. There was a mango & blood orange beer that was lovely as well as a chocolate peanut butter that ended up to be tasty as well. Hope you have fun at your soiree tonight!

Thanks! We had a blast...!!! :)
I had my last drink about 3 hours ago, and didn't drive anyway. I had 3 total in 4 hours. We were all given 2 drink tickets each at the beginning of the event. Youngest DD gave me here second ticket 'cause she only wanted one drink. I had a Dos Equis and two Bloody Mary's.
Darn, those Bloody Mary's were good, with generous pours, too...!!! :hungry:

cant pack that little. I'm a big packer, I always pack at least 2 pairs of stuff for 2 extra days.
I've been forced to stay at airport hotels quite a few times and gave me very bad experiences that I said "never" to have to use the same sweaty clothes for 2 consecutive days x_X

I pack at least 4 extra pairs of "unmentionables", and about 2 extra pairs of socks and 2 extra shirts, and 4 pairs of cargo shorts.
I obviously wear a coupla' the cargos more than once. :cautious: ;)
