In all fairness, trees need hydration too! I have often wondered though, if you drink a lot of water and then find yourself using the bathroom a lot, wouldn't that mean that you are drinking a lot more then you are using up in the form of dehydration? It always seemed to me that if you consumed the necessary amount, you would only get rid of what you put in to yourself and occasionally, as with any human, would need to use the facilities or the trees (which ever is easiest). Not a lecture, just a curiosity.
My Doc has always said listen to your body. If you are thirsty, drink water. It works for me.
I handle heat pretty darn well without getting overheated, I don't carry any excess body weight and that seems to help. I can drink soda in between, liquor and heat >me, doesn't work at all. I've through the years have watched people enjoy beer on hot steamy days and can't process how they do that.
Most days I was down there it was 90 or pushing 90 with feel likes of upto 105, it was humid. But drinking water seemed to do it for me, so I did. Guess not everyone's bodies work the same way and some are likely more accustomed to warmer, humid climates than others. I tend to live on tea or coffee up here during the winter. When my friends visit from the south during the winter their bodies seem to cope less than ours with the more frigid weather. I've been told by many that it takes 2 years for those who move south from colder climates for their bodies to adjust to the climate change in the warmer months. I get that. Likely why I visit WDW more between Late October through April. September is still mighty toasty.
