Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Well, yesterday turned out to be quite the day.

Some sad news today. After a prolonged illness, my wife of 29 years passed away last evening. Although we were divorced several years ago, I spent almost half my life as her husband while we grew a life, raised a great family, operated a business and generally worked through the many trials and tribulations of life.

She was a woman of many accomplishments including two Masters Degrees, one in Nursing and the other in Gerontology and many other talents as well. She was not without her problems, but, overall did the best she could against many personal hardships. I am going to do my best to remember the good times, the dreams and the successes because in the long haul that is all that really matters. Rest In Peace, Gail!

My deepest sympathy to you and your girls. {{{Big Hugs}}}

Today was youngest DDs 22nd birthday. If y'all recall, we celebrated her 21st last year in NOLA. Not so extravagant this time, but, we did eat here...

Wow! That looks fantastic! You really know all the best places to eat. If hubby and I ever make it to Austin we will have to have you plan our food itinerary. :)

I noticed last night I only had enough bubble bath for one more bath, so when I went to Wal-Mart today that was the first section I hit. I think this school year is going to be full of relaxing Friday night bubble baths! And I only have 6 Mickey bath bombs for the school year! :jawdrop: I might have to figure out how to get to Basin at Disney Springs or the GF to stock up in November.

I've heard similarly too. Hell, theres people who boast about "drinking 'round the world" til they cant stand upright D:

Don't get me wrong, I've had a cool buzz at Disney more than a few times, but, I was just feelin' good. I've never been close to falling-down stupid-drunk and didn't remember stuff the next morning.
For one thing, it's too darn 'spensive for me to get that drunk...!!! :greedy: :hilarious:
