Just relaxing at home after a hectic week at work. How are you liking New York?
New York has been great so far. I have been LOVING the subway; it's the only way I've been getting around town. The F Train is the line I've ridden the most and it's my favorite because every time I've been on, it's been new trains as opposed to the other lines which have had a mix of old and new.

I was taught that from a very young age. It's natural for me. I also wash up before meals. And when I'm cooking, I wash up many times, when preparing meat. I also wear new gloves for beef and chicken, so filled with carcinogens. I guess I've become wise after, being a brand new cook, we almost died from a staff infection, from contaminated chicken. According to my grocer , Tyson is the worst. We had that and still got sick.
OH gods. I have nothing to do against CLEANING. I was talking about the image of the guy with the multiple hands PEOPLE!!!
I do clean myself a lot as well, I was trained as chef!

Today I went to the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens (which I got into for free because of my being an NYU student), and I also walked across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan. Tomorrow I am thinking of going to Coney Island.

What is everyone else up to?
I had work all day today. On my way home from an Orioles game. Tomorrow...homework. Sunday, O's game and...homework.

Enjoy your free time and use it to explore while you're still fresh meat. The further you get in your college career, the less and less free time you'll have.

@Goofyernmost My deepest sympathies to you and your daughters.
Thank you... we are all doing OK, but, then again we have always tended to hold each other up when needed. I cannot tell you how proud I am of my daughters and how they have stepped up, when called upon, and done what wasn't always easy, but, was part of being a responsible adult. It reinforced to me that in spite of occasional lapses in proper parenting, their Mother and I, together, managed to raise two very strong and exemplary women.

Today was youngest DDs 22nd birthday. If y'all recall, we celebrated her 21st last year in NOLA. Not so extravagant this time, but, we did eat here...
