Sympathy like. EEEKKKKK that's a lot to deal with.

That sounds frustrating. Hopefully today goes better.

Management has always been out of the loop, for the working person. Why do they retain their jobs? They rise to a level of total ignorance.

Sympathy like. Traffic has been worse here since school started too. My office is 30-45 minutes from home, but it's been taking me more like an hour to get there. I have the key, so I just have to make sure I'm there before 9 am to let the brokers working out of that office in. I plan to get there at 8:15-8:30, but if I'm stuck in traffic and get there later than I intended, no worries. No public transportation; it doesn't reach out to my house or to the office. That's MD for ya.

Sympathy like on the boss situation as well. My boss tends to forget things as well. I chalk it up to him being busy and going 30 different directions at once.

Thank you all for your concern. :inlove: Sometimes I think that working for a huge organization creates a more stressful environment, due to the multi-layer administrative and medical areas of management, too many departments, and battles over budget constraints. I don't think I work any harder than anyone here on the forum; it's only that the amount of bureaucracy and insanity gets to me sometimes. Not every day is bad by any means at all. It's just those certain days that it hits the fan, and it's a jungle in there. You need thick skin to work in any healthcare position; it's definitely not for everyone.

I kinda' miss these... :cyclops:

Disney+World+FastPass003.jpg

for a collectible point.. YES PLZ..
for an operational standpoint. NOPE NOPE.

I kind of miss the paper too but I'm with @Cesar R M, I like the magic bands so I can manage the fast passes without criss crossing parks to get the paper fast passes. It's okay at Disneyland because it is a smaller space to transport across but I did miss the magic bands when I was at DL.

I actually wonder, does Delta have policies regarding cancellation or change of flights fees based on THEIR forced flight changes?

I think I read something about the ability to change without costs if they force the change. The only change I could have made on Delta without taking a full day off would have been to another day which meant missing out on a half a day at WDW.

Fortunately I won't have to mess around. I talked to my boss this morning and he understood the situation. I didn't have to show him the proof of the change, although I offered. He said they haven't finalized plans for the inservice yet but it shouldn't be a problem to make up the time without using personal time either. So I was relieved about that. Now lets see if he remembers.....Although I did text hubby about it right after so I could use that to jog the bosses memory if need be.

Depends on if fans want to give him a second chance or if he's hated enough that people won't vote for him.

I don't condone what he did, but the protestors are just thugs. They could be protesting something that actually matters instead of protesting what amount to a celebrity who made a bone headed move participating on a reality show.

I could see a few people yelling out (although I wouldn't) but to rush the stage at someone I think that is going to far. It isn't like Lotche murdered or caused serious injury to anyone, just lied (which is wrong too). Oh well....

Delta stinks as an airline. We are stuck with United, also not good. Maybe you should call the airline and see if they will switch you to another carrier, at not charge, of course. It can't hurt to try.

I looked into that too until I talked to my boss. The only other later flight was at 8:30 on Spirit and it would have gotten us in at like 1:30 in the morning. :(

I hope your day went better today. I think everyone has bad work days and I don't mind if people vent a little. I have! :) Hopefully those days were the "stuff" hits the fan are few and far between.

I think the problem with the chip technology is the same with MDE and MBs when they first launched: technology wasn't thoroughly tested and tends not to work.

Target and Best Buy are the only two places here that it consistently works. Although it was working at D ick's sporting goods, but my bank hadn't sent me a new debit card with the chip when I last went there.

Yea, not sure what's up.
The chip readers at the pharmacy and the other store about a half mile further down the road have been working just fine since they were installed a while back.

Well people have emerged from the neighbor's house. It may be that they had family visiting and travel in the bus. There were just 3 kids and two adults so why they need a bus? Who knows? The plates on the bus are Wisconsin so it isn't like there is a long haul situation. And they don't seem to be loading anything but two small boxes. Anyway they have been running the bus for over 15 minutes now, there was some black smoke for awhile but that has left. This has all struck me as strange. Maybe I'm just a nosy Nellie.

I'm hoping when you return that there are more pictures and descriptions. You are being way to cryptic for me. But I am glad that you are having a fun time!
Not really trying to be cryptic just going from early to late take out laptop and fall asleep. I did remember lots of food fun. We have photo pass too We have seen some odd things this trip now let's hope I remember them all.

The pup and I just got back from a walk and I can tell it is fall just by looking at the cornfield. The place that has horses had a horse out, we haven't seen one in awhile and my dog was transfixed. So we watched it for awhile. I didn't take any pictures because the people were by their barn so I didn't think they would like me taking pictures. I laughed when the horse started rolling on the ground because that is what kapono does in her yard!

Maybe the horses learned it from her...?! ;)
