Did you not go on the boat due to the seas still being choppy down there? The winds up here have really picked up this afternoon, and we're getting the very tail end of Hermine tonight and tomorrow.

No, our weather's good here, and we would have gone out on the Chesapeake, which isn't really experiencing any effects. My parents just have a lot of stuff to take care of over here and needed today to get it done. Next weekend they're helping my stepgrandmother with something and then the Ravens game on Sunday, so they needed today to get some work done.

I thought about doing that, but I really wanted to wait and see how long it would take him to notice. So this afternoon, (after hanging up the new drapes yesterday, in hopes of some wrinkles falling out), I decided that I still really needed to still iron them. I brought in the step stool near the window, to take down the drapes and rod, and hubs happened to come downstairs. Conversation:

"What's the stepstool for?" (Note--not, "hey those are different drapes." No, we must focus on the stepstool.) :rolleyes:

"I'm taking down the drapes to iron them."

"Oh. Oh wait . . .did you do something different? . . . No." :mad:

"It's been 24 hours and you haven't even noticed that the RED drapes are gone, and white ones are up?!" :arghh:

"Oh yah--red. What happened to the red drapes?"

Thanks. At my age , I'm not so sure my blood pressure was back up today. I just wish food manufacture's would make things with out sodium, cheese (to much sodium). I'm only shopping in the frozen and fresh food isles. Everything else is crazy bad. It' like the U.S. manufacture's are trying to kill us off. And don't get me started on GMO foods. Eating healthy has doubled my food budget. What a rip off. Rant over.

Yes, it is so much more expensive to eat healthy. But I guess when you think of the medical costs by not eating healthy I guess it is worth it. But potato chips are so much more tasty than celery sticks! :arghh:
