My vacation got off to a rocky start. I won't go into all the details of the drama, but our party of 6 is now a party of 4. Here we are yesterday at DHS. Too much rain for my liking. However our 2nd day was much more profitable. I am slacking in the photo department. However due to all the rain, not too many Photopass pics, and very few on my regular camera. My foot hurt like crazy yesterday, so I started my 6 day packet of medication today. We are suppose to go to the Animal Kingdom today, but I think we should switch to Epcot. I will see what the others say. We planned a noon start today. Not raining now, I guess we should have left early. I have more pics on my iPhone than on my camera. That is unusual for me.
I hope the crazy weather from Hermine doesn't bring you down too much.

I hate eating in any type of restaurant myself...I always feel like everyone is looking at me, judging me. They probably aren't, but it feels that way.
I have often wondered where that came from. I have known many people, not always just women, but mostly, that have that same problem. I will never understand why, one, that you would be so special that all eyes would be upon you as you ate. Coupled with having to ask yourself, what they are doing there if it isn't to eat something. Then realizing that if we, as humans, don't eat, we die... so why do we consider that an experience that makes us stand out in a crowd? Isn't it something that everyone does, that isn't a stick figure fashion model? Is it some unwritten rule that if you are eating and you are alone that there is something inherently wrong with that? And if that is the case and based on the idea that I have basically been doing those things by myself for 15 years... why am I not either see through skinny or dead?

You're one smart cookie. I know somebody who needs one and can never remember where she puts hers, I make sure when we go someplace she has one with her. Or least I try and remember!
My grandson is like that. He has Asthma, not severe but once in a while he has a tiny bit of trouble getting air in and out. He plays sports that require running, like basketball, I can tell when he's having trouble because his mouth is open and he looks winded. Guess what... he never has one with him, I haven't needed mine in three years but I always have it on me. So, he comes over and asks if he can borrow my inhaler for a minute. o_O:) Just call me Dr. Grandpa, your friendly portable EMS.

Be safe @Goofyernmost and @93boomer I hope the storm misses both of you.
It doesn't look like it is going to affect us to bad except for rain. They are talking about how it is moving along and once it goes past, it's not much behind it. But, we will keep a watch. The coast line is in much bigger jeopardy then us, according to the weather people. Thanks for your concern though.

I live on a relatively high spot with massive gully's all around. If the water gets up to my place, then it is time to break out the Ark.

Hubby just brought me flowers! :inlove: He said it was to send me good wishes for going back to school tomorrow (the kiddos are there tomorrow).
What a sweet hubby! I love flowers in the winter. I like to pick up a bouquet, and make small bouquets, to put a little one in each room. Brightens up the winter for me. We usually do the same flowers, due to allergies, carnations, mainly, maybe with a rose or two.

christ on a cracker.. so much bad luck.
my first flight was delayed 3 hours because engine problems. the engine refused to speed up and it turned out it was a broken "spark plug".
last time I fly in this company using these crappy russian built planes.
then, they misplaced our baggage because they were marked as connection, but the plane already had left to miami.
it took them 2 goddarn hours to find them, unbelievable.
then took my mother and I 2 hours fighthing the manager..
anyway, lost my connection and these clowns of the airline refused to align me with any other airline (other airlines had available flights) and they refused, im stuck at mexico city until tomorrow early morning.
Wow, that's just awful. I hope things go better from here.

I'm always transferring bags, from backpack to purse 1, to purse 2, back to the backpack. If I didn't have a system of just grabbing the pouch and tossing it in, I'd never remember.

Yes because online petitions work sooooo well. They might because companies are probably too lazy to read a letter.
When a company raises the price of a medication to a price where you can't afford it and it literally could be the difference between life and death for you, you have to protest as loudly as you can and as much as you can. Whether that means writing the company an open letter, taking five minutes to sign a petition, you have to keep talking. They may not listen, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't keep trying.

Come to Doctor Who. But I agree, when you love a show, you can rewatch it forever. It's been a whole year since the last Doctor Who season!! Damn the British. I love the British though. Like 3 years for Sherlock and seasons are only three episodes long.

I'm currently rewatching the West Wing which is my favorite American tv show. My current favorite American show is Suits but this season has gone downhill fast.
I've been watching The Bob Newhart show for years, and years. I still laugh.
