christ on a cracker.. so much bad luck.
my first flight was delayed 3 hours because engine problems. the engine refused to speed up and it turned out it was a broken "spark plug".
last time I fly in this company using these crappy russian built planes.
then, they misplaced our baggage because they were marked as connection, but the plane already had left to miami.
it took them 2 goddarn hours to find them, unbelievable.
then took my mother and I 2 hours fighthing the manager..
anyway, lost my connection and these clowns of the airline refused to align me with any other airline (other airlines had available flights) and they refused, im stuck at mexico city until tomorrow early morning.

That is very good to know. It's like when a few people on the forums (including @ajrwdwgirl ) mentioned to me that 50s Prime Time Cafe also had a lounge that served full meals at the bar. That was great for me. (I don't mind sitting at a bar in a nice cocktail lounge, that serves meals. I'm not a fan of sitting at a table by myself.) Maybe next year when I go to WDW, I might check out Sanaa. :)
It is awkward sittinf by yourself. I don't mind when I'm at school or Panera's, but at a full service place, it's just plain awkward. I did it at BWI post-blizzard. I had to change my flight from coming home a day early to a few hours before my parents, so I went to a restaurant inside the airport to eat a decent dinner. It was super awkward. But the food was good.

I was carrying around an expired Epi Pen because I thought that I didn't have a current one. I thought I was going to have to talk to my allergist about what to do with the whole pricing controversy.

Then I went into my medicine cabinet and found I actually have a current two pack that doesn't expire until Dec. 31. So we'll either hit our deductible and I can get new ones, or maybe something will have been done about the ridiculous price hikes. Phew.

@donaldtoo , how are your dogs doing? Do they go outside much in the heat down there in Texas, or do they stay more indoors during the summer heat waves?

Bellie Crazy Cakes and Ranger Danger are doin' just fine, thanks for askin'! :)
They are mostly inside dogs year 'round, except for doin' their business and walks.
Seems the days of a dog house in the back yard are long gone...our house IS the dog house.
Which is actually good for me, because when I end up "In the doghouse" I know where I'm still sleepin'...!!! :joyfull:  :cautious:  ;)

Oh poo. That is bad luck, it's a good thing you weren't flying in the day of you cruise. I hope things get better.

I'm in a curriculum meeting right now......blah blah blah.....:bored::cautious::cautious: (There really should be a sleeping icon here).

Blah. I was on the curriculum committee for many years. Frustrating. I moved to policy. I like it because it is more of a watch dog committee to make sure all areas are represented, students, parents, staff and district. Sometimes policies presented initially are heavily weighted to one side and need to be reworked. It is kinda fun. I quickly exited the district 10 year vision committee. Dear Lord that was painful.

Your comment above to @Wrangler-Rick is spot on. I, also, was moved by the concern and care he gave to all three kittens. As you said, the one that didn't survive, was still special and cared for, despite his brief life.
Yes, I am in your camp. There are so many heartbreaking stories about cats and dogs being abused and neglected that a story like @Wrangler-Rick 's is heartwarming. It's good knowing that there are people out there who care enough about animals to want to help them like he did. And yes, the little one didn't make it, but he was well-cared for, and the other two will likely grow up and find good, loving homes. Whereas if he hadn't found them, they might have all died. Love stories like that.

They are supposed to lower the price to only $300. Still waaaay too much. My BIL needs them because he's allergic to bees.
