Yeah I heard it was pretty bad. Cirque also has a show on Broadway right now called Paramour and the critics ripped it to shreds.

Makes you wonder if the original owners sold the company right before it collapsed show-wise.
Kinda how Disney has been feeling in the USA with their shows/attractions lately.

You know, just when I thought I could not possibly hear about more ludicrous WDW-related news this week, I read your account above about Toruk. The part that really hit me was the mention of a C. du S. show that must now be interactive . . .

I've seen three C. du S. shows (2 in Vegas years ago, and La Nouba at Disney's Westside). All were incredibly high-energy, visual extravaganzas. So I just can't wrap my head around this latest show (which sounds overly busy to begin with) and throwing in interactive phone stuff, which would take the focus away from the show's very talented cast and special effects. Interactive -- overkill??

Probably some executive who doesnt know crap and just wanted to feel "hip and cool" by recommending to add "interactive elements" for the kids of today.

I thought about you guys. Our gas prices went up over $1 and they have finally started falling again which is odd for summer as we have an expensive summer blend here. I saw $2.05 and was woohoo'ing.

The lowest 'round here right now is $1.82.

As much as Disney World has my heart New Orleans is special to me too. I just love the thought of living in the Garden District and having fun in the French Quarter.

@Gabe1 and myself have known each other on Disney sites for almost a decade. When I first met her on another site, I assumed she was a he, too.
Although, she has admitted to being somewhat of a tomboy during her earlier years , she's definitely no he...!!!

I think I may have mentioned this a few times before. The "people" from that stupid show WERE NOT from Joisey!

Too funny!!!
That show was already off the air for about a year (I never watched a single episode) before I found out that it was filmed in Seaside Heights, NJ.
I spent a week there in a house with a buddy of mine and a bunch of his friends back in the summer of '81. He was attending UT at the time, and had gone back home to the northeast for the summer.
That was one flippin' crazy week...!!!!!
