I actually heard about this. The friend who I'm taking to Disneyland has an older sister with asthma that is similar in severity to mine, but unlike me, she's had poorly controlled asthma whereas I control mine. Anyway, we see the same allergist, and he told her she had this problem with apples. She can eat apples that are cooked (like Applesauce is fine) but can't eat a raw apple.

I don't eat raw apples as much, but the only apple variety I have the issue with is the honeycrisp. No idea why. Apples are pretty much safe for me, though.

My DD like you has many nature type allergies. She only in the last couple years has had issues with apples and a few other raw fruits. Fine with cooked. My niece as I said before is taking ambulance rides over apples. Also developed about the same time as my DD. This kinda makes some sense as my niece or DD are allergic according to scratch tests to apples.

Don't underestimate the noise you can make. Especially since they hid the deadline or buried it. Social Media, donors, support organisations are very helpful when anyone is wronged that is considered to have a disability. They generally do not want the bad PR. Where is the company based?

Thats the problem, they didnt "bury" the deadline, they claim they sent automated emails to all US and Canadian customers.. hint, I dont apply to the "US and Canadian customers" group.

Time for our elected officials to get back to work and approve funds to help stifle the expansion of this. It won't eleminate it but sure can curtail the vastness it could turn into.

in other news, going to make the plunge.. going to get into heavy debt to buy my new implant. My current processor is outdated and is out of guarantee today. And I really do not want to pay the 750 USD again for lousy service by the mexican branch.

Plus it should help me to hear better in most cases, including phone, crowds and even resist water.

Good luck with the implant. I hope it works the way it should. Anything that will improve your quality of life should be money well spent.

Does anyone else watch Girl Meets World. be kind, if you don't like the show. I sure hope Lucas finally declares his choice between Maya and Riley. I love Farkle, and Corey and Topanga are as sweet as ever. I heard that the show is being cancelled. I hope not, because I really enjoy it.

I like the show too, sometimes when shows are brought back or rebooted they aren't that great but this one is. I think Lucas should pick Riley.

We could see construction going on from Big Thunder Mountain. They didn't do as good a job blocking the view as they do at WDW.

The view of Star Wars stuff was pretty visible from thunder. In the few days we were there we actually saw a decent amount of change. My husband was excited, I missed the goats.

thats a lot of cash and im going to be heavily in debt.. grrrr.

Oh dear, sympathy like. It's sad that you have to spend all that money for something that will give you better hearing. I just take my hearing for granted, and now I realize what a gift I have and should be more thankful. It's not fair that you have to pay so much money.

I love breakfast. I wish Disney would do an all day breakfast somewhere.

Wow! Now THAT is a GREAT IDEA for a restaurant option. I can't even begin to think of all the people who would love breakfast at any time of the day. Years ago, I lived in an area that had a 24-hour breakfast place. On payday each week, I'd get off the bus and make a bee-line for that restaurant--breakfast for dinner!! Sometimes, bacon and eggs, or pancake, or -- Steak and Eggs?!! WOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!

I still love the old cars. As I've said before sister, older than me, had an Oldsmobile 98, convertible. That was a fun fast car....we could get it up to 95 mph in no time. Foolish and lucky kids we were. This was on a two lane road IN THE DARK.
